Lookin' real good, Standard. How did I miss that you already have a 5??? FDE coating?

Ok this is weird, but I've seen the pic of your 5 and 3.5, and the pic of the 10 and junglas from Google searches I had done over the years and months getting to know the different GSO models. Now I "know" the man himself!
 
Finally sprung for some kifaru ultralight pullouts to organize the backcountry kitchen.

That 5 is long gone now. One of my friends had to have it so I let it go. The new 5 that is coming soon won't be going anywhere!
Most of these photos were shared over on the Esee forum before I found out that BF had their own Survive! Thread. I used to check in over here back in the day but there were so many complainers so I never joined. Now it seems like a great community!

The 5 is such a great knife in my opinion! I honestly hope you get yours first so you can feel the excitement!
This subforum is great now! I talked with Bennyboo on Facebook and he's the one that told me everything changed for the better so I decided to join. It looks like the Mods or the Survive! Team did a great job of getting rid of the complainers.

Really diggin' them so far! The XL is in the back of that photo, fits two toaks 750ml pots on top of one another, aeropress, emberlit, cooking tools with room to spare. I'll post back with photos after some use.

The sheaths a DIY I made out of some wickett and craig in a few hours before a long trip in the sierras. Thanks!!

I am loving this knife !! It's right at home here in the Redwoods..

 
Looks like you've been using it! You can't go wrong with those camo scales.

Thanks for adding something else to my list of "needs" haha. those look great, I use sea to summit light weight dry sacks, really thin and waterproof but kind of a pain to get in and out of. I like the look of the kifaru sacks.
