I wish it was going your way to. It was great but I couldn't get used to using the choil so it sat around for two months.
I wish we could have our own For Sale or Trade thread on here.

I would love that. I remember something from the Tech forum, another group asking for their own FS forum. I think it came down to a matter of traffic, whether there was enough to justify it. Can't even remember the group or whether they got it. Might have been CRK. Maybe if we see enough growth here........

I haven't taken the time to look at rules, but would there be a way to make a notice to our little group here before going live in the exchange?

I was just looking through old threads today trying to find something else and I saw it. Sorry, Calc!

I have thought about the same thing, Silver. It would be nice to give the forum a heads-up on intentions to list, like a 'bulletin board' thread on the forum, but I think Sec. 3 Rule 2 would prevent us:

"Selling on this site is restricted to the appropriate designated forums. Don't list sales threads outside the Exchange, especially without the appropriate membership."

No problem bud. It was in my mind as well. One thing I failed to mention is that paid members do get to list any sales threads they have in their signature lines. Maybe in the future when I post up a sales thread for a gso, I'll sig line it and then post up a Hi y'all in the Chat, ha! :D
 
Fiddleback Forge has a separate thread for buying and selling (the flea market). But I don't know what the deal is.
 
I was also just thinking the other day, that it would be cool to have a For Sale/Trade thread here in this forum.. Fiddleback does indeed have one and I also think JK knives has one too..


EDITED TO ADD : My GSO 3.5 should be here by the end of the week... :D

Waiting sucks, but I find that once I know it has shipped and it is on it's way to me it becomes absolutely excruciating. Hope the mail comes early tomorrow :D

I know nothing about this but I made a note on my To Do list to look into it a bit further. That list is pretty long right now so don't get too excited yet. I will keep you posted.

You got that right.. I have been a knife junkie for many years now and though I've gotten a lot more patient as Ive gotten older, the waiting time still sucks and hasn't gotten any easier... :/
