Official SURVIVE! picture thread

Redwood try a spyderco sharp maker. Its easy to use and within 20 min or less I've got my 3v or 20cv back to shaving sharp.
I'd really like to get one of these some day. I have a Worksharp Field Sharpener that has guides for certain angles. I've had success on 3v and 1095. If I can do it, ANYONE can :)

All loaded up for hiking trip next week.

The 5.1 tucked away safe.
Such a great set up. Seems like a while since I saw a pic. Last time your Laser Strike was holding the spot for your 5.1 :D

How's that worksharp on your 3v or 20cv? I only ever carry an Arkansas stone. Just a fine grit to touch up the edge.

I've been happy with it on 3v. No 20cv experience... yet. After a morning of cutting down boxes with my 3v 3.5 it took 40 passes on each side on the fine diamond plate to get it back to shaving hair off my arm.

The 20 degree guides are great, but I've been practicing to get a feel for free hand sharpening.

Opened the best uni I've ever had in my life with the GSO 10.

An accidental color combo win...

The color doesn't show up right, but they are both orange and green

It's a mountain hardwear Frequentor™ 20L Backpack. Found it for 1/2 off and thought it would make a good small go bag/day pack. The knife and sheath combo just happened to be a lucky accident that I just noticed.

Is that red or orange? Looks great!

orange/green the color didnt show up very well in the photo but its about as dead nuts a match as different materials can be

OK ok, clearly I missed you stating that in your first post. Thanks for being so nice :)

I wonder if this is like the blue/black or white/gold dress thing from a few months ago because I'm seeing red and black!

EDIT: If I look closer I can see the green.

That's a nice looking pack Redwood. Less than 2 pounds and it's bright orange lined!

I posted this insane featherstick made with the GSO-5 on Facebook the other night:
