Official SURVIVE! picture thread

Yeah! It was a long wait but totally worth it. Everything about the two new survives I have gotten has been perfect. Hopefully they start cranking them out for all the other orders that people have been waiting for!

Pine tree fell on my field-fence (kinda visible on the right), so the GSO-10 and Husky go to work!

This is part of why I love S!K knives - they are fantastic in utility-grade materials, but also look great all dressed up...

Wow! You are a real artist! Is that more polish than you've done in the past? What types of wood?

I've been a fan of all your work, but these might be my favorites so far.

Chiral, if you had the 10 ready to go, why bother with the chain saw? :p

Those wooden covers will give Guy something to think about. Superb. Is the dark Gabon Ebony?

Those are quilted maple and ancient bog oak. All stabilized by k&g. The bog oak is 5300 years old.

Which is your favorite/ go to.?
I'm still really partial to the 4.1 in 3V. The ergos on the 4.7 are certainly incredible, but it's not nimble enough in my hand. I haven't learned to maneuver it like the 4.1.

The 3.5 was my first and is always on my hip in the elk/deer woods due to weight, and it's very capable as long as I'm near civilization. If I were to get lost, or go deep, I'd want the 4.1 or 4.7.

I have a feeling about the new 3.5.

At the moment, the old spec 4.1 though, for reasons I can't quantify. I trust it. It lured me here. It took me forever to find one, and I haven't stopped buying them since. I'll probably reduce by 2-3 at some point.

Here's what I've been doing with a 4.1 the last 2 days.
