Secret's safe with me :D

Great blade. Good seeing some use on it!

Oh yeah first day I got it I was in the yard waiting on the charcoal to do its thing and I was cutting limbs for try sticks and whittling a little on them!

Ugly betty 5 and 4.7 cfv with an elmax edc4 that was sharpened and had some laser etching added.

The 4.7 cfv has a small scratch in the coating not even all the way through to bare metal and a small scuff or two. The grind is sharp but not perfect. Otherwise it is very well fit and finished.
The gso 5 has the very light cut out marks that a lot of 1st gen 2cds have, and the scales are a tad small leaving a bit of handle edge that can be felt.
They are both better than I would have hoped for and are better finished than some of my earlier made knives that were 1sts, so in a nutshell I would buy with confidence.
I have not taken the handles off yet and will report if anything major is going on under there, but I doubt there is.

Cool, I have a 4.7 and old spec 5 ugly Betty's on order. I can't believe you got yours so fast. I am looking forward to inspecting mine. I will try to post pics here so we can see the different flaws.

Methuselah - Great looking handles. How'd you get that finish? It looks terrific!
