thats nothing here is my w/c. My girlfriends 12 year old son has cp. He is a very normal looking boy w/exception to how he walks. But 12 years of everyone catering to him. Being uncorrected for bad behaviors. And you can't even set him straight unless mom is around. Or it might bit you in the arse. And is utterly unfazed by sitting in the same chair all day. Watching Netflix and playing games on his PS3.( Hatchet action before you even hit the door.) & if you actually got him out. A 5 mile hike turns into 20. After stopping every 100 feet for a rest. And hearing him talk about video games the entire time. I try to make him tougher but it's like molding melting jello.
 
Just dropped Sophie dog off at mama's house. Hittin the road to meet up with Jerry D. And his wife, then off to the Indians baseball game. Yeah!
 
Yesterday my wife took the kids to her dads house, from there they went to a christian school event.... My wife's dad's girlfriend is a teacher at the school...

Anyways they had a bunch of races, swimming contests and stuff like that. My son won 3rd place in the 40 yard run.. he is 5. The even was for 5-6 year olds and there was 24 kids running. He did great on that!!

Then he also won 2nd place in a race in the pool with water up to there waist...... But there was only 2 people in that event... and he lost to a smaller girl LMAO !!!!! But he got ribbons for both LOL

I took the family yesterday for a 5 mile hike. I think my daughter would of preferred being water boarded. She had to pee, her feet hurt, the walk was to long, we was lost, we were going to be attacked by wild animals, she was going to die, she couldnt walk any further, and that was a half a mile in. :rolleyes: bless her heart.

I don't have any of my own but I've spent a lot of time with my friend's kids so I can sympathize. Even been drafted to carry them a few times. The perks of being an "uncle".


Just got back off the mountain I'll be working on the videos today. The spot I went to is probably 2000 feet higher than where I live so I didn't really put the effort in I maybe could have. But how much do you really need to see to get an idea of how a knife works? If I make 100 tent stakes and split 100 logs is it going to tell you any more than if I only do 1? I hope not because I didn't do 100 anything.

Anyway, I can't really tell the difference between the new coating and a stripped blade. Maybe a different material might do something different but these are outdoor knifes so I focused on wood.

And between the SP8, LHB, and BK9 the BK9 is the winner and still king. As if there were any question.

Had a nice grill out yesterday. Grilled some ribeyes, salmon, peppers, portabella caps, pineapple, and oysters.

Great catching up, Todd! It really sucks about that fubar at the ball field and your seating reassignment.... Jerk.
