Trip to Muscongus Bay Lobster Pound for dinner tonight....BYO the rest of dinner and drinks, but the lobsters, clams (actual steamers, NOT quahogs) and mussels are AWESOME. Opened the beers we brought with my 11, but my family doesn't get the "knife thing" so no pics of that.....Lots of picnic tables, saw some ospreys and a bald eagle, and enjoyed the beautiful weather. And lobster....and steamers and beer (Lagunitas Little Sumpin').
A slice of summer in Maine:
Woulda taken more pics, but once you start getting lobster juice all over ya, you just leave the camera alone.
Also saw this little damselfly at my folk's house this afternoon....all the rain (more than 3" of it) had their pond pretty full.
Hope everyone has been enjoying their weekend so far. I know I have. Swimming in the lake tomorrow morning, and then home.

I picked up a Gamestalker last week. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but it seems like a nice little knife.

I'd like to handle one of the folders....I have a Rowen HEST fixed that I really like. If the folder is as stout and well built as the fixed blade, it's likely a hell of a knife.

Thats about all i have going on at the moment though, damn bills getting in the way of my knife buying LOL No but actually i have up'd the amount im paying on my land AGAIN. Trying to get it paid a little faster than the end of 2016... I figure id rather hurry up and move to a place where i can use knives every day then keep buying knives and it take an extra year or 2 to move. SO i have less money to buy knives... but its for the best. Once i move ill be paying less in bills... and have a little more knife fun, and a lot more time and space to use them.
Getting ready to send my comp cutter back to Dan, he is going to tune it up for me before the event... Get it back razor sharp and all Also sending him my Chopweiler... He is going to tune it up for me as well!! My favorite woods blade, but with his edge work... Hmmmm.... Cant wait to see what that knife is capable of when i get it back!!!
