Okay, new question, what are you driving?

1992 Chevrolet Lumina with broken power steering, a dying transmission and a pushed in rear bumper. I really need a better job.

just got me 1 of these^^

2001 Dodge stratus r/t
2004 yamaha raptor 660
2005 Nissan Titan 4X4

no complaints with either :D

'02 RSX Type-S. Which I leased, and am glad for - it's the first Honda I've ever had trouble with. Engine ate itself at 49K miles. Dealer replaced the long block under warranty without blinking, gave me a new TSX as a loaner while they had the RSX - for three weeks! Car's been a problem, but the dealer is great.

Voodoo, that Stratus is beautiful.

I'm driving a 1997 Ford Thunderbird LX with the sport performance package (ie. lower, better suspension and slightly better exhaust, though not as good as the Mustang GT). It has the 4.6L DOHC v8 (putting out about 210hp) and 4 speed auto-tranny.

I love this car, it's fast but handles like a dream. And, it looks pretty badass since the sport package lowers it about an inch and a half and the nose has a very aggressive look.

I've had it for just about two years, it had 69k miles on it. I'm about to roll over 94k and it's still going strong. I'll keep it until it dies and then probably rebuild the engine (or modify the engine compartment and drop in an engine and tranny from a Super Coup or the old 5.0l v8). The funny thing about these cars is most of them that I've seen for sale on ebay and the like are very low mileage... I can't understand why, this is a great driver.

A silver 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac (just enough bed for light hauling, and plenty of room for 4 adults).

The wife drives a red 2000 Dodge Neon (it's been a very reliable car so far).

I just recently got rid of a 2000 Chevy Impala--and boy am I ever glad it's gone!

Allen.

1997 GMC K2500 sierra 4x4, toolbox in the bed, shortbox, side tubes 133k miles,

2000 tahoe Z71 limmited 4x4

and the baby is a 1976 stingray L-48 (180 bhp at rear wheels) with K & N airfilter (5 hp) centerforce dual friction clutch, true dual exhaust (no cateletic converter or crossover pipes), 265x15x50 Dunlop GT Qualifiers on factory 15x8 rally rims, accell distributor, cap, rotor and control module.... this baby as it sits is making 220 bhp at the rear tires, needs paint and some electrical (tach is sticky and some idiot wired a power booster to the radio) but it's paid for and hella fun to drive with the tops off through a rain storm (at 65-75 mph you don't get wet..... unless it is comming at you from the side) and man can this baby corner... did I mention it is one of 4000 four speed manual transmission cars built that year, the rest were automatics. :D :D :D

Right now my wife and I have three that we plan to keep for a long time. They are the best three we have ever had.

98 Jeep Wrangler
01 Silverado
04 Honda Pilot

Found this thread and noticed that less than 2 months after I posted that we had already changed. Still have the Pilot. Sold the Jeep and traded the Silverado in on a Honda Ridgeline. These we plan to keep a while.:D

Me: 2002 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab
Wife: 2005 Nissan Pathfinder

I drive a 1994 ford F150 with the 5 liter (302) V8. Bought it new, and after the first year I had it converted to auto propane. The propane conversion is saving me lots and lots of $. This is mainly because there is little tax on it, so the money stays in my pocket rather than to the government dictatorship.:D :D Propane is nearly 50 cents a liter cheaper than gasoline, it gets about the same performance, and the engine runs much cleaner. After 5,000 km the engine oil is still clean, but I change it anyways since it has mileage on it. Love that truck, and I get it rust proofed every year. 12 years old it looks new, no rust anywhere not even on the brake lines. Rust proofing your vehicle is as important as oiling your guns and tool steel knives.

2006 Nissan Sentra Special Edition---has every factory option other than a sunroof and satellite radio----30 in town---35 on the hwy----has been a great little car so far.

2005 Suzuki Bandit 1200--loads of torque and unreal quickness---and manages to get 50mpg on the hwy.

2002 Klein Quantum---nice bike--very lightweight---but seeing little use due to my motorcycle fetish for the last few years.

On the Fords---I keep on lookin at those Mustangs---problem is---its still a Ford and I've NEVER known anybody with a new Ford that wasn't nothing but problems.
