  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

"Old Knives"

Two new arrivals this week. Both need a little TLC, but should make for fine users.

A little Landers Frary & Clark in mother of pearl, just a hair under 3 inches closed.
An OVB by Hibbard Spencer Bartlett. It's a shame that someone tried to engrave their initials in the bar shield, not to mention the broken blade (which I can still open, so it'll make a fine little coping blade) Nice ebony, no blade wobble. I didn't even notice when I bid on it that it's got a double nick/pull on the main blade. I don't have any other knives like that. It's nifty!

Cool R8shell! That OVB like you say with the pull and the Nail Nick is pretty cool - that would have been a classy Knife when released- so neat to see the love that someone had for the use of their Knife that they kept it all that time and got so much out of it, then comes R8shell - who seems to turn them around and give them that new lease of life!
Always great to see!! :)
