I can make out Imperial on the larger blade, there are markings on the smaller blade.. alas my lowers are failing me today!

I love them old Imperials, they're startin' to get harder to find in decent shape, let alone mint.

Here's an Old 50s-60s Imperial Mini Serpentine Jack

I love them old equal end/cigar jacks. It's one of my favorite patterns and one Colonial and Imperial did well, just like their Barlows. :) That one's got a lot of meat left on the blades too.

Found one!

A petite thing of beauty, mine looks so used but still has plenty of life left, I'm jealous r8shell, you have the original box and papers, you lucky girl you. :)

I'm just holding it for you. ;) If you ever lose or break yours, let me know.

Note to self, add to notes in the knife inventory app. thanks r8shell, I'll let you know, I'll try to limit batoning with it to nothing over 3" in diameter ;) that should extend it's life substantially.:)

I think that is the first reference to batoning with a traditional I've ever read! :D The image in my mind is not pretty.

Here's a beautiful 30s-50s advertiser Autopoint Chicago IL, the celluloid is magnificent showin' no signs of decomposition or outgassin'.

I see what you mean, somewhat rounded "V" sections, yes.

Beautiful OVB's, Mark! I love how the main blades are quite full. How do they snap?

Thought I'd give this thread a wee bump with this Brookes & Crookes Fly-fisherman's Knife
