It's going to be even worse when I put them back in!
Here's an IXL senator that's 3 3/8s closed.

Exquisite detail on that IXL Mike ! Even the pinches are nuanced. Look at that well shot  Senators just showcase the skill of a cutler ;) Thank you for sharing!

This old NYKCo Hammer Brand sits in front of me at my desk along with an old Camillus.
Of course just a vassal to ye Lord :)

Ha, that's funny, you appear to be pulling your weight just fine

Michael

P.S. You guys kill me! o_O and please don't stop!

Schrade 2OT. This was a project knife. I put in a last nanosecond low bid on a broken 2OT. When I went for the commit button, my finger brushed the 3. I stared at the screen for several seconds trying to figure out how I had bought this for double my bid until I realized what I had done. So I contacted the one guy I know who could possibly make it right, EA42, and he said he'd give it a shot. It was a rusty, broken back springed junker and now its got walk and talk, and good looks too.20171027_134548_HDR_Film2-1.jpg 20171027_134601_HDR_Film2-1.jpg 20171027_134624_HDR_Film2-1.jpg

A couple of very nice ones, robbobus!
Nice to have one with the deft skill of EA42 applied to it!! The 2OT is such a great knife!!!

H&B deep stamped blade. New Britain Conn stamped half-whittler. Nice touches like the ground in relief on the pen blade notch, tip bolsters and federal shield. The blades were black with patina when it came into my possession. I have painted it with mineral oil and given it a wipe with a soft cloth whenever I think of it and it shows much nicer now.20171027_142232_HDR_Film2-1.jpg 20171027_142257_HDR_Film2-1.jpg

This old Remington has a similar fine coping, so delicate looking on this knife.

Almost missed this beauty, What a knife !!

A super fine grouping, Charlie ! The black camper with the boot scraper {?) is one I've never seen. I would love to see the catalog cut for that one or advert. :)

I would be remiss not to show a well pic. Impossibly tight without a trace of rub.View attachment 787881
Sweet knives and the Schrade is the bomb now !!

Mike, Jamie, Gev, Steve, S-K, Charlie... apologize if I missed someone:) Nice knives:thumbsup:

Here's the "Not so purdy" entry, yet she's a looker to me. Shortened and reprofiled main, pen appears normalish? But beat up and wonderfully aged sawcut bone. This old girl reminds me of a well worn and comfortable pair of jeans:thumbsup:
A circa 1932-1955 Queen Barlow. Blades are solid with no play and get to that "Man that's sharp!!!" level:thumbsup:
