Cool, predates the CRKT k.i.s.s. by a few decadesMy latest Geo. Schrade Wire Knife came in today. It is a 1-27-42 Pat. mark blade w/bottle opener. I believe with the red liner it is from the Boy Scout Kit. Other picture is it with my other wire knife a Pat. mark 9-?-26 with hawkbill blade.

It looks like new.
Nice NYK Kevin, love the jacks with sheeps foot blades.
Picked up this old Robeson 3 3/8" jack, thinking 1910 to 1920, has much patina and great bone.

It looks to be in great shape, too.I've seen many Schrade Cut Co's in molasses... but I had not seen an E/O teardrop until I spotted this one

Sharp and snappy! It looks to be in great shape, too.![]()
Very cool knife, love the color of the bone, but gotta say as someone who grew up an hour from High Knob, and can remember when the Norton one was the only Wal-Mart within a hundred miles, your background immediately caught my eye! I'm a Clinch mountain hillbillyActually found this in an antique shop...price was not far off from what it would bring on the auction site so I brought it home.
Tang stamp shows 1924-1936 based on the info I've fpund. Blades are both snappy, a bit of wobble on the main. Secondary has a half stop. Nice find compared to the usual overppriced junk I find.

Yes, that is amazing stag!Rachel, Kevin, Jak, Justin, all great old knives, pleasure to see!
Picked up this early John Primble India Steel Works 4 1/2" English Jack with worn smooth stag and pitting on the metal, still has good snap and no play on the worn blades. I think it dates from the late 1800's with what research I have been able to do and was probably made in Sheffield.
