There ya go, I need to get the vett. Out for a spin once and awhile. LolI think that one exists as an historical example, but just a little overdone. Sort of like my car designs as a kid.

Hi Itsmebsh,Just throwing this out there .If anyone has any questions about Olsen OK knives feel free to ask . I will answer to the best of my ability. I have been collecting Olsen's for about 20 + years and have a nice collection of knives plus paperwork and research . If i don't know i will say so .
C cbactonHi Itsmebsh,
I've read through this forum and can't quite determine the info we are looking for. My wife has found an Olsen Lil Sharpie Jr. that may have been her father's or her brother's. We are trying to roughly date it, at least to the decade as her father passed in 1972 and her brother passed in 1986, so we can figure out who's it was. Coincidentally they were both active duty Marines at the time of passing.
The knife is marked "OLSEN OK H.C., MI. LiL SHARPIE Jr" on one side and "440 STAINLESS JAPAN" on the other. The sheath is was found in is marked SCHRADE twice around the snap and also stamped into the leather flap.
Any help on an approximate date would be very helpful.
Thank you,
Clark
C cbactonThis was my grandfather's knife. Can anyone give info on model, steel, possible dates?

C CuriousCupOfT Hello, you have a model 310 Diana the Huntress. It is from the "Masters" Sculptured Hunters Line. The knife began being made after 1975. A lot of people refer to her as the naked lady ,but it really isn't . Also in the pewter is her hunting dog and in her hand is a falcon. The sheath is a Olsen but was made for the model 508, 308 or 608 witch had a shorter wider skinning blade. But it is still a Olsen sheath. I hope that I answered all your questions . Thanks and nice score as these were a harder pewter to get. There are a few out there for sale but they want good money for them. But a knife is worth what someone is willing to pay when you have it for sale lol. And these knives aren't made any more. Congrats BrianI've been to 5+ "knife experts" in my area and none of them have been able to tell me anything about this knife. I've had this beauty for a few weeks and I want to know more about it! Whatcha got?!
Thank you sir and for the thread. I refer to it often.Fodderwing Looks like a really nice 510 congrats
That is a gorgeous 510, excellent addition!Recently acquired. 510View attachment 1017929
I've seen a couple of these that had holes in them for a lanyard? Any idea if that was just an option Olsen offered or maybe it pre/post dates them compared to these?
Fodderwing , what a beautiful 510 with stag handle. Nice scoreThank you. Since the thread is back I will add my latest.View attachment 1025966

A Ashoka , the original colt Olsen's never had lanyard holes. But Colt had a very tough quality control. So if colt rejected one it was supposed to have their stamping removed. Sometimes that didn't happen and a lanyard hole was added. So is it still a Colt Olsen, well yea just not a Colt approved one . And yes Olsen made knives for one year for Fur * Long,Warren MiI've seen a couple of these that had holes in them for a lanyard? I have one that they must have made for Furlong. as it has their name on the tang and sheath.
Pics as soon as I figure out how to add them.
