My starter words didn't reveal enough letters but the 3rd did. A respectable Par 4. :)

Again, not enough letters revealed in the 1st 2 tries. It took a couple more tries to find the double vowel and its placement and the W which led to the solution. Without that it could easily have been a fail. :(

Continuing my love/hate relationship w/Quordle. :(

Almost got a 3/4/5/6 but had to use a "seeker" word on the 5th try in the 3rd board but still a decent score for Quordle. :)

I am an idiot. I confused myself on the answer to 284 and tried to avoid what I thought it was when I made guesses 3 and 4. Finally figured out it had to be . . . then went back and checked the answer to 284 to find that it wasn't what I remembered. Doh! 🤪 They say memory is the second thing to go, and I don't remember what the first is.

Par 4. Same old story. Picked the "wrong" word on the 3rd try but not bad considering only 2 letters revealed in yellow on 1st 2 tries.

Another case of not enough letters in the 1st 2 tries which pretty much limits my best possible score to a Par 4. Oh well . . . 🤷‍♂️

On the other hand, I've oddly been having good luck w/Quordle recently.

Scored a 3/4/6/7 on Quordle 70 yesterday and actually scored what I consider a "perfect" 3/4/5/6 on Quordle 71 today.
I know that this trend won't last but it's nice as long as it does. :)

Another tough one for me; only 2 yellow letters revealed in the 1st 2 tries which makes the 3rd guess critical.
Fortunately, the 3rd guess revealed enough to lead to the solution. Made a tough Par 4 and am happy w/it.

A great 3rd guess considering only 2 yellow letters were revealed in the 1st 2 tries but it proves what I've recently observed -- that the less obscure word isn't the "right" answer -- but FATAL was the only word that occured to me. So, I'm still satisifed w/the result.

I use the original Wordle site that was morphed into the NYT site that can be found HERE.

FEWER was the answer for Wordle #288 on 04/03/2022
SHAWL was the answer for Wordle #289 on 04/04/2022
NATAL was the answer for Wordle #290 on 04/05/2022

So, I think you may have lost count or missed a game somewhere along the way.

Wordle #291 is today's game on 04/06/2022; answer pending.

Only a good guess on the 3rd try saved a Par 4 for me on this one.

Knew it was too good to be true. My Quordle "streak" ended at just 3. LOL! ;)

Failed Quordle #73 miserably, completing only 2 out of the 4 boards in 9 tries. Oh well . . . 🤷‍♂️

What was the word you had on 04/05/2022 other than NATAL?

Was it FIBRE? If so, that was a word that the NYT (along w/other words) is reported to have deleted from the list.

And did you get COMMA yesterday?
 
dont recall the 4/5 word, but don't remember FIBRE being a word we've had.
Yesterday was COMMA and I've got todays word noted as well

Well, if you did get FIBRE that might explain the "problem" because FIBRE was supposed to follow NATAL and come before COMMA in the "old" Wordle word list but it was deleted from the "new" NYT Wordle word list.

The word AGORA showed up in some people's games just after the NYT purchased the game and deleted it from the word list apparently because the NYT thought that it was too close to AROMA which followed it on the list. It was suggested that the reason for that was because the user never "refreshed" the game and thus were/are continuing to use the OLD version of the game.

But, if you didn't get AGORA or FIBRE while playing the game I can't think of any other explanation why you'd get a different word than NATAL.
