Yesterday once I had BLANK it was obvious that it had to be CLASH, CLASP, or CLASS, and I had already eliminated the P, so naturally I guessed wrong.

Same as yesterday. Not enough info
to solve in 3. 3rd guess saved Par.
Per WordleBot, 12 possibilities after 2nd guess
but only 1 possibility after the 3rd.
The current NYT average for this puzzle is 3.8.
09/08/2022: Wordle 446 4/6 CLASS
Not enough info to solve in 3 but choice of
LAMPS revealed enough info to solve in 4.
Per WordleBot, 72 possibilities after the 2nd
guess and still 10 possiblities after the 3rd but
the only 2 that I considered were GLASS and
CLASS because I figured the letter pattern
had to be __LASS.
So it was a 50/50 shot to save Par.
The final NYT average for this puzzle was 4.3.

Wasted second guess, it's interesting, because I was super busy at work and made the second guess without taking time to think through it. In the future I need to take a few minutes to think before guessing.

Weirdly today I got so fixated on the starting green letter that I forgot to include my yellow letter in my guessing until guess four, so that was a total waste and should have been a two- or three-guess day.
