Only 1 letter from my 2 starter words. Was
going with a different letter pattern w/the 3rd
guess which reduced the possibilities from
3 to 1 & led to the solution w/the 4th.

The current NYT average for this puzzle is 4.3.

09/12/2022: Wordle 450 4/6 BOOZE

Again, I was going w/ a different letter pattern
w/the 3rd guess but it reduced the possiblities
from 15 to 4 and led to the solution based on
the letter pattern "___OO___E" which could only
be BOOZE. The other possibliities were PHONE,
GNOME & OZONE; none of which I considered.

The final NYT average for this puzzle was 4.7.

Yesterday was a weird one. My mind kept going to word patterns that were _LA_E even though I knew the A didn’t go there and there was no E (BLAME, FLAME, FLAKE, etc.)! Took a while of plugging in letters until I guessed right on three. Was a lucky guess for me.

Another tricky word. Per WordleBot there
was only 1 possible choice after the 2nd starter
word -- the "answer" -- but my 3rd guess was
accepted as valid word even though it was NOT
on WordleBot's word list. So, I had to guess again
to get the answer.

LOL!

The current NYT average for this puzzle is 3.9.

09/13/2022: Wordle 451 4/6 ALPHA

I think in terms of letter patterns when trying
to solve the puzzles and my 3rd guess was
focused on looking for a double consonant
which was wrong but limited the remaining
possibility to just one per WordleBot.

The final NYT average for this puzzle was 4.3.

I laughed so much when THYME popped up. My girlfriend and her sister have been using that word as a guess for at least three weeks at least once a day.

words. So, a pretty easy puzzle 4me.

The current NYT average for the puzzle is 3.7.
So, it's also a pretty easy puzzle for most too.

Not sure why I didn't go w/THY__E for the
initial letter pattern. Entered FLYTE for 3rd
guess which is on Wordle's but NOT on
WordleBot's wordlist. THYME was the only
possible answer after that.

The final NYT average for this puzzle was 3.9.
So, this was a pretty easy puzzle too.
