Recent Wordle News:
The NY Times has apparently edited the "acceptable" list of words that you can use to make guesses on Wordle to remove anything that they deem "offensive" to make it "politically correct" for the times, which is silly (a 5 letter word) IMO.
See: The NYT Deleted "Slave" From Wordle
And, see: Wordle Blocks Certain Offensive Words
Don't know if this means that they've edited the list of answers or not. Upon my review of the list when I 1st saw it, I don't recall any "offensive" words on it but that would be in the "eye of the beholder."
---------------------------------------
Some people are also complaining on the Net that Wordle has become more "difficult" since the NYT bought the game but, based on my review of the answer list, that is not the case.
See, for example: Wordle Fans Claim Wordle Now Harder
Some difficult words like ULTRA, ULCER and CYNIC just happened to come up recently but, as far as I've looked, there has been no change to the answer list "yet." So, it just seems that it's just a coincidence that some harder word have come up recently.
