One pissed off newbie. Medford Knife and Tool.

This is the first time that I have ever ordered from their website though. I have never ordered a custom praetorian ti. I went all out and ordered a pretty badass expensive praetorian TI.when I ordered it and was told TWICE. Once in the website when ordering and once in a order conformation email from some Amy Medford person that the wit was 30-34 weeks. So fast forward to 32 weeks. I email them to check on the status. They proceed to tell me that orders that were placed during that month have a year and a half wait. I emailed back and said ok well what happened to this email and my receipt that have another date. they said that they put those times on their as an estimate but they almost always go longer. So I don't know about anybody else but that definitely sounds like bait and switch to me. Why would a company tell someone a lead time knowing that it can't be fullfilled? And that they know they won't fulfill? Has anybody else had the same problem as me? I really don't think that I am the only person that this has happened to. I know that this company has been having a lot of success lately but I definitely think they would not be selling that many knives if they truthfully told people that they were going to have to wait a year and a half or more for their knives. I would have not bought one if I knew it was gonna be that long. I would have bought something else. They are nice but not that nice.

Ya well I'm going to bite my tongue so this doesn't bite me in the ass im waiting for 2 knifes? I should have ordered directly from Medford Jake so I was purchasing stuff in stock. That's the perfect world. I got a po box specifically for My Medford knife orders its costing me more than they are worth they have done me a big favor they gave me a free engraving on a tbf a 1500 knife when my father passed pretty cool huh! 😎 now the last 2 knifes I ever buy from them are costing me double. These are something im leaving for my grandkids just want to get them I definitely get your frustration. Have you been yelled at by the
owner and hung up on?

if you like playing with fire and gasoline i guess go to his facebook. i'd just get your deposit back if you paid one and move along....too each their own though.

Ya he likes to yell and hang up b4 you can respond! And this is a 2021 response real awsome guy! I got tired of waiting donated the 2 knifes I had ordered so I don't have to deal with them anymore 🙃

you do realize I posted that back in 2016.........lot has happened since that time.
