Order instructions for BF survival knife from IronWolf

Yes, look for pics posted later this weekend. We'll have a seperate post for that one, and square away the details.

So, is it confirmed that Nick (NWA) is still making a W&SS Forum knife? I apologize if this has been covered. I tried to keep up on things, but I may have missed this if it was covered.

Yes he is as far as I know. The knife he is making for tknife is going to be it. He is going to submit pics when he gets it done, and tknife will handle the ordering instructions.

I just sent a $70 deposit thru PayPal.

for the following knife:

Scandi grind, spear point knife complete $140ea
Green canvas Micarta
Loveless rivets

Here is the knife I would like to offer up er..... well this style. This one is spoken for. Thanks Thayne:thumbup: I hope you like it as much as I do.

The specs are 3/16" O-1 HT'd to 59-60 RC with a visible hamon( though it is tough to see in the poor pic)
5" Blade
OAL 10"
green Canvas Micarta Scales with stainless hardware
Sheath will be a pouch sheath treated in bees wax

I was going to put this style in for the BF knife. It was supposed to be a different style than the ones I have already made. So I blended two knives to come up with this one. Any feed back is welcome positive or negative. I hope you guys don't mind I added a few 45-70 rnds in the pic for scale.

Thanks
Nick:)

NICK THAT IS ROCKIN' MAN! Turned out awesome, but I knew that it would :D I'm going to post it in a seperate thread so people can post if they would like one.

Cool, I'm glad you like it. Sorry it took me so long to get some pics. posted. I've been fairly busy. So you think that the blade has the right curve?

Thanks
Nick:)

Now it's a toss-up between NWA's knife and Ironwolf's drop point . . .

Waiting for ordering details for NWA's knife.

Yup, I like a nice broad drop point for a field blade, and that looks excellent. I really like the looks of the handle too, great contours and that green canvas looks nice! I like the thumb grooves too, they will double as a great sparker for the ferro rod. What can I say, in my eyes it is perfect!

Nick that is a beautiful outdoor blade. Great job!!!!!!!

Order form and Pay Pal deposit sent for two knives; one scandi and one flat-grind, both w/green micarta slabs. And....on the Scandi, start the grind so that there is almost no ricasso showing. Thanks for everything.

That's a beautiful knife!

Wouldn't be as good for slicing and fine cutting as the thinner scandi grind, but if you were gonna do some chopping that would be the bomb!

I don't know about that. Even though the blade stock is a bit thicker, as wide as the NWA blade is, with its flat grind I imagine it should be a fairly good slicer.

Is it flat grind all the way? Or is there a little bevel at the last. I can't tell.
