Morning fellow homos (homo sapiens that is)...

I am requesting an opinion from you folks (anyone who has one to spare). I have the oportunity to trade my Laconico Blast 2 for a Xm24 slicer... Is it worth it? Im kinda attached to the Laconico, because its super hard to find, and i was lucky to get one. I know the whole "are hinderers worth it" topic has been discused on other subforums.. I just wanted your opinion

I had an XM-24 Spanto...and it was alright. The only Hinderer I really love is the 3.5" XM-18 Slicer. Are Hinderers worth it? Well, worth their actual price, absolutely. Is it worth giving someone aftermarket value while they smile and take twice its price despite the fact that it's not new anymore? Not at all.

If you are attached to the Laconico, keep it. You'll regret trading it almost immediately, I promise you.

That was my thinking as well... I just keep thinking of the price that Rick charges for them...i would buy 3 at his price. But if im gunna trade my custom piece for a production piece... I just dont see how thats fair. Idk..

I'd keep the blast, Hinderers are available, laconicos are not. Just my opinion though. :) ~Kirby
 
Stick lol I always like to see you pick up rare knives when you come across them. You and Chester seem to always be hooking fellow members up when they come to that nearly impossible to find knife. I would do it if I could afford to but I have several that I picked up simply because they rarely pop up and the price was right... When the time comes I intend to pass them along in much the same way.

A grail just popped up. I might need to sell my 0500 to buy it...........I need to think.

Hinderer's are awesome but I wouldn't do it. If it was for a 4" Curttis F3 that would be a different story!
 
Well, my day today was awesome. I got to help Steb out with his want of my 0500. And I get my mini grail, the SpyKer!!!
