It's been a while since I've seen LOG play. I miss them terribly, they're one of my favorite bands. Randy is still in jail, right?

Indeed. Love them live. A great show where I could always just hang in the front side corner of the stage and enjoy the drumming. :D And Alexi is just fantastic. Never ceases to amaze me with what he can play while doing vocals.

Not bad, went to a new homemade ice cream place had some homemade peach thrice cream, visited family up at the lake, took the kids on a boat ride. got to drink some micro brew from a local start up that started canning last week, and floated on a noodle with said beer for a few hours until I was crispy and then came home and been relaxing while the kids were at camp from 6 - 8:30. Just put up a sales thread and chilling out with my dog drinking sun tea to rehydrate!

Eckstrasecksi the 0801 certainly is. Extra points for the word as well. I don't know about a passaround...but it's worth entertaining when they become a bit more readily available. Hmmmm....

Jackson, if you're even remotely curious about the 0801, just get it. It's not likely that you'll regret it, and if you do you could easily sell the same day you post it up.

You know? I knew you liked all kinds of music but I never really took you as someone who would be really into metal. That's pretty awesome:thumbup:

LOG was terrific. Chris Adler was pure beast mode on drums. Randy is free now actually! I believe they let him go in fall of last year. We saw them in october of '12 and remember he just let out around that time.
 
Just placed an order for some more canvas and linen micarta! Peeps seem to really like them on the 0550! I might need to get a makers membership here in the futchaaa.

Congrats! Brown canvas is probably one of my favorite looking handle materials. I hate working with it but it always looks nice when it's finished up so it's worth it.

Oh wow, I just looked it up and it says he was acquitted this year. Woot! Wait...crap! I missed them in upstate NY!!! Wtf!?? Just my luck... Oh well. As for my music tastes, I was a pretty big metalhead for a long time. It was a natural progression in my drummer at the end of high school and first couple of years of college. Played in a lot of bands, opened up for The Misfits at one point, recorded some music for people. My main band actually stopped in the middle of mixing our album...that's bummer. I still have all the project files...maybe one day my buddy and I will finish it.

Your scales are quite good sir. I still have the one you sent me. I don't use my 0550 anymore, but I treasure it and your work as gifts with stories attached. :D I look forward to seeing more of your micarta work.

So..how's that light workin' out for ya!?
