Hey guys need some input....I got some knife money saved up and 0301 is at top of my list but the new 0801 is calling my name. As a collection only knife which would u choose out of the two? thats 0301 or 0801???

The 0801 is a better knife I think. It's also not a good sit-in-your-closet collectible. Using it will net the maximum enjoyment of its awesomeness.

should i get a junkyard dog cbblk or wait for the 0200, because im getting antsy and the darn jyd is driving me nuts, plus im still antsy from the auction fail

so seelow, how do you think i should go about putting the grind on my knife? all i have at my gpas house is a ceramic grinding disk about 2 inches thick, not to mention the fact that my knife is really thin

The ceramic disk probably won't do too much if it's what I think it is. You could probably get away with using some hand files for the primary bevel. Do you know what kind of steel it is and if it's annealed? If it's not annealed you may have a hard time with files.

Hey now it's not cheap, I have one and its most awesome. I had a spec bump in s30V but had to let it go. I prefered the milled g10 and stonewash but the flat g10 is still pretty sweet.
Not sure either of those would be my choice for a collectible. They both are work horses ready to be used. If you want a collectible I'd look elsewhere. The ZT 0400 is a soon to be very sought after piece, the 0780 is too. If the 0700 is being discoed then that would be one too. Those are all cheaper than the two you are talking about.
Thats just my opinion though. I say if you get a 0801 or 0301, USE IT!
Whatchu want more? A ZT or a L.E. JYD CB? Are you going to actually use it and how hard?

i intend to use it to the fullest i can, my edc use isnt very hard, but if i need to cut hemp rope into 1000 little pieces, so be it (exageration, if that were the case id go with saving my aff of for a rockstead... not any time soon, or ever
