Order of KAI Official Hang Out; Part Deux - It's Enrico Palazzo!

I found a maker on here named Matt Lamey who's style I am loving. I sent him an email complimenting his work but am going to save up the money before I start bugging him with detail questions. Ideally I wanna go big for my first custom and order a bowie, If I can't afford that his smaller knives are still amazing. I have been lurking a lot in the custom forum lately and am just blown away by the pieces of work that they can create. When I am ready I will try to get on a list and after the details hopefully be able to pay up front and simply say take as long as you need to :). I have rough ideas of what I want but intend to leave a lot at the maker's discretion so I can have that "wow" moment when it is finished.

I looked him up and his work is beautuful! I've also been lurking in the custom section, the wip for the silver Bowie handle/sheath was amazing...

I hope he does...I seriously did not like the 0200...at all. It's probably my least favorite ZT. *awkward pause* o.O Sorry if I killed a mood. I'll still sharpen it for you VVV. :D
 
i know, im excited, especially considering my little fail on the bay, and my brain rattling over the jyd le and stuff, but i have decided the jyd le will be my next buy, and hopefully a spec bump down the road, im just so happy right now!

you didnt kill the mood, the vid that got me interested in it was from a guy who doesnt like it either... either way, its my first ZT!!!

no problem! Even though its a user, I figured you'd be interested :) I had a 0200 once... i really liked it, but I ended up using it to trade for something I wanted even more. If I ever get another one, i'll probably end up getting the satin blade version.

ya, im fine with wear, i was really tied about getting a blem for kershaw guy, but i didnt want the xxxx's on it, that would just kill the 0200 for me, the jyd wouldnt matter because its an le regardless, and still would have the ser number, and ya, stick you'll be my sharpener guy, when i get it do you have the ability to put on a mirror edge? :D
