Great photos of Fine Knives reading material Dave . So did it take you 19 or 20 years to finalize your collection ??? Is there one of them that is Not Made of Unobtainium ??????

This year’s Oregon show was fantastic! It’s hard to beatJakeywax31 Paul’s summary — most of his highlights would be mine as well.
It was a particular pleasure to finally meet DuncanCampbellclanman in person, as well as Dylan @Pàdruig who I missed meeting at the show last year. It was also a treat for me to see a couple of the Albers Guardians Lambs out in the wild!
Sitting and chatting with Charliewaynorth is always wonderful, and it was great seeing Dave
knowtracks and Dan
danno50 again and getting to talk with them. And of course I have to l thank to my friend Neal @herder who first talked me into coming to the Oregon show last year. I won’t try to list everyone else I got to hang out with this year, as I’m bound to forget someone, but just know that I appreciated meeting, talking and looking at knives with all of you!
I did a terrible job taking pictures this year (too busy having fun, I guess). I did get some pics ofknowtracks Dave’s display of
waynorth Charlie’s SFOs, which was excellent! What a collection! I know photos of the display have already been posted, but hey, why not see it again?

Dave and Charlie were kind enough to stand with the display for a picture.

Most of the other pics I took were of the knives I picked up at the show. It was definitely a pretty good year in that respect! This first one wasn’t a show pickup per se, but a knife that
Rhidian had made for me and delivered in person at the show. It’s a bit of an homage to the humble little Camillus What-A-Knife, with a Lambsfoot blade, caplifter and scratted bone handles.

I got to spend a good deal of time with Mike Moran this weekend. What a great guy! I’d been admiring his knives online for a while now, but getting to handle them in person took my admiration to another level. They are so well made, I love how nice and thin they are, both behind the edge — a big plus for me — and in general. I couldn’t leave the show without one, something that definitely was not in my plans for the weekend, but hey, what can you do?

I had hoped to find some older Opinels at the show, having seen quite a few there last year, but only came across this No. 8. I also really liked this little Sheffield-made Canadian beer advertising knife, so I couldn’t pass it up.

Last but certainly not least are two TC Barlows that I feel extremely fortunate to have picked up. The PPP two-blade ebony came from a small selection of knives thatknowtracks had brought along to sell, and the 2018 OKCA soup bone TC (a parts knife made with a 2014 clip point blade and originally brought to the show by
waynorth in 2018, I believe) came from the man himself. Dave and Charlie, I appreciate both of you giving me a chance at these rare knives. Thank you!

Ok, I think I’ve been long-winded enough for one post. I absolutely cannot wait until next year!![]()
I managed to snag one of Rhidian's knives at this years show!! Hard to beat a well made Stag Barlow! Especially one with an old Sheffield-style blade!!View attachment 2848718View attachment 2848719
Dave, the book just blocks it, but tell me about 59,60,61,62 please. I was under the impression only 3 diamond jack variations existed... thanks![]()
The first release of the “Diamond Jack “ in 2013 there were 3 two blades and a single blade. The Antique Yellow Jigged bone #58 there were only 3 made. Charlie, Duncan and I have one. The second release in 2017 there were 3 single blades, #62 is the harder one to find with only 6 made. That one has satin finish blade and different jigging.
Dave
PS I’ll get a better picture up to show the ones hidden in the shadows!
