OT/ Glock .45?

This thread has got legs! :D It may run forever ...

When selecting what you "want" as a pistol or calibre is that Stateside ... you have the choice ... most bad places elsewhere you take what you can find ... if you were "underwhelmed" about calibres your heads in the wrong place to be where you are at ... "reliability" is the thing in the weapon and "skill" is the thing with the shooter ...

Anyone see the TV footage of the guy running on stage to assasinate the President of some small country in what was the USSR ? Lol ... his gun skills were so poor he had a miss fire and instead of racking the slide and going again ... he went to check if the safety was still on ... then got a serious beating ... now if you don't know you've taken the safety off you're out of your depth ... :D

Another bonus with the Glock ... the drills are very simple ...

I would rather face someone with a large caliber, than someone with a 22. The 22 is deadly accurate and anyone can shoot it.

Good point, it will also be able to hold about 100 rounds because they are so small. Well except in NY :D

Some of us are really good with a 45 too...

 Nice leather

:D, true but not the average bad guy that you will run into. He will be shooting gangsta style, flickin the gun to give the bullet that extra little amount of velocity:D

All I see Stinky are some antiques :~)

Tactical Tupperware Rules!!

I stake my life on ëm everyday. Nothing else gives that warm cozy feelin

@ Lycosa,
There's an article in this month's American Rifleman about simple cheap upgrades for Glocks. It's all pretty much standard stuff, sites, triggers, magwells, and such, but if you don't have any experience in the tupperware dept, it's a pretty good, all inclusive, upgrade list for a first time owner.
