Our "Front Porch" ....

I loved the Toy I used to own. Have enjoyed Wrangles I didn't own. And do like the Raptor on paper; it's also a good looking vehicle.

Also worth noting, for anyone who isn't a Top Gear fan look up the Toyota Hilux on Top Gear. No such thing as someone who dislikes Toyota after that. I've been into the raptors for quite awhile. My brother in law, who is the biggest car guy I know, lists it as his "grail" so to speak. I've only been around them a small amount, but that is a heck of an endorsement in my realm (also he is a knife guy still on the search for his first Hinderer if that bears any sway). And as to jeeps, oddly enough I've never owned a wrangler, but I abused a liberty, aka the girliest of jeeps lineup, for years and it held up unbelievably. I was not nice to my jeep; actually borderline sadistic, and it never missed a beat.

Also to be noted is the friendly "community" vibe while driving certain vehicles. I find both Porsche owners and Wrangler owners to often wave at each other as the pass by one another on the roadways. Custom vehicle guys and motorcyclists do this too.

All is good. Even though I have been riding Harley's for years I'm not into that selective wave thing, maybe a little lower wave to other HD owners, but wave to all.

Hello folks...

Every now an then I have a thought...I'll share this one and see what happens.

If time travel ever is to exist; it exists right now, and has always existed...chicken/egg.

I always wave at Hinderer owners when I pass them. I sold my motorcycles after my daughter was born so I don't have anyone to wave at now!

Uh-oh - I'm insane now. I'll need a minute to digest this one :)

The last few days have been crazy. Dallas and the surrounding areas have been coated in 5-6 inches of ice. Naturally that's caused all sorts of issues that have kept me busy. Skipping tons of preliminaries in the story, I was attempting to stalk a rather large predator last night and in the stalking process I managed to slip a few times. I, of course, had my xm in my back pocket, and as such I know have a perfectly xm-18 3.5" shaped bruise.

We have a little ice heading our way tonight into tomorrow morning. Lets go snow day! I love being a teacher sometimes. Especially on snow days. ;)

Pics or it didn't happen (as we say) Nj. :D

I don't think this is one anyone wants to see, but it is definitely funny. We almost never get actual snow here, so we have to make the most of sleet and ice. I went hunting for what I think is a mountain lion (I'm far from an expert in tracks, but it's feline shaped and the size of my palm and near a sad scene in a little donkey pen), and came back sans mountain lion, sans any coyotes, and with a funny bruise. I don't think I'm a very good hunter.

That is one theory. Another is that you can't go in the past before time travel exists.
