Out of reach folders

Just thought I'd bump this thread, my new oorf is the benchmade 810 contego, got to handle one, fell in love

Jen anso zero blue anodized textured scales 1s up for sale @ 1275$ in almost exact config I like but sadly not gonna happen

My 0777 folder is the ESEE Izula folder, announced to be soon available sometime in 2009, and again soon to be available sometime in 2113, plus or minus a decade or so.

My white whale is a 940DM, you won't find one for less than two grand, no joke. I heard of someone selling one for up to four (which is ludicrous IMO, but you see what extent some 940 collectors go to - freakin' nuts).

I wish I knew about it when it was released.. missed that boat :(

I don't consider myself a collector, but have mostly low end knives. My goal is to have my 3 grail knives: 1) CRK Sebenza 2) Strider SNG 3) Hinderer xm-18 3"
Got the first 2, someday a Hinderer if they ever offer the same prices for the public as for LEO/Military.

Direware solo and anything by Dalibor Bergam. I got in touch with him the other day to get on his next book opening, really friendly guy.

Why not buy one; those pop up regularly for sale here... And they're pretty inexpensive from what I've seen.
don't have the cash... yet, but i do think i might get one today or tomorrow, working my aff off on my grandparents farm, towed 30+ trees on a four wheeler, that and the fact that my grandpa offered to pay me by taking me to a hunting store that has one

Nicely done. They look like a fine knife.

Good for you man. The 810 is one of my very favorite blades of all time. Big 'ol slab of m4? Oh yeah, and it's thin enough to make for an absolute wicked slicer. You'll love it!

Now, my out of reach knife(s) is a bunch of GECs! I've done the Sebenzas (I still want an inlay badly!) and obviously Strider, but I'm stuck on traditionals. Anyone reading this, if you don't want to give up all of your modern folders, do NOT buy a nice trad! :D

Well, my grandpa just gave me $100 not an 0810, wich is still awesome, and ot shoots me to my goal for the 0200 ive been eying down
