Take care of business in the first place and you won't need to explain so much.

Point of information:

Messages sent through Bladeforums private message system are as much a part of the record as posts in a thread. Insults, Sassin' the Mods, all of it, are grounds for action. Don't do it.

who knows, maybe he had a heart attack and died

there are thousands of possibilities as to why it was returned with no contact from my buyer

the knife is now in the possession of a good friend who i just recently got into knives.

Ok, you shipped out a 3rd knife to an undisclosed buyer and it was returned. So you then immediately try to resell it before you have any further contact with them? That's not cool. Did you refund heart attack man's money?

Esav, do tell... you catchin' flack from Anand via PM?

oh, you dont have to ask him, i'll gladly post what i sent him in public, because its nothing i have to hide :

you've had people straight up accuse me and threaten me with jail time and fraud of all kinds

and you're telling me I'M the one whos digging a hole for myself?

wow dude way to go with the hive mind

thats the first message i sent, followed up with a second one. If Esav wants to post the second one, he can, i really dont care

and now i told him to 'go fk yourself' because im very sick and tired of being accused of federal crimes amongst other things especially...

when there is no proof whatsoever and YOUR side that the knife was NOT stolen. You're telling me not to rely on the ONLY evidence I have, which is my shipping receipt which clearly shows the package was sent to you. Thats great dude, you dont think a postal office receipt for shipping items is sufficient then what exactly do you think is a valid piece of evidence to show myself as an honest seller.

next thing i know, if they have camera feed at the post office you'll say "oh but how do i know its not just some other "middle eastern" (as you so appropriately stereotyped me for no reason) guy sending out your package

you already have it made up in your mind whether im guilty or not, so you can go ahead and use the proper channels to get your money back. NO ONE in the history of bladeforums would be stupid enough to turn down a refund that YOU bitched so hard to get. All you did even when i tried to make concessions to you was tell me "oh you better put your money where your mouth is and get my whole 260" or "beg borrow and steal to get my 260" - i got your 260, but you didnt want it, end of story.

thats also documented here, as well as the string of 57 emails (which by the way NO SCAMMER would be in contact with you that much).

Just to be clear, I wasn't the one who threatened you with jail time. I've certainly implied fraud, but don't think I typed that word outright in the thread.

Claiming a shipping snafu with the USPS is a rarity is like claiming cancer is a rarity.

It is only rare if it does not happen to you.............................

Cool, we can tell mods to go f**k themselves now, PP is opening a brand new list of things we can do on BF without any consequences. Why was Frisky banned, BTW?

Let's be clear ==> I want my $260 back.

Anand Moses, if you had a shred of a sense fair play, you'd have sent a refund more than a week ago. But you didn't. And then, when you offered me the "deal" of $160 up front, and the other $100 after you received the envelope back, I decided that was enough... I had ZERO reason to believe you'd send me $100 after I sent you the evidence/envelope. I decided I'd pursue this with the postal inspector. Then you offered the whole $260 after scrounging up $70 from somewhere, and I sent you a very sarcastic email. You took that piece of bait, and used it as an excuse to not send the money. That was your "out" to let the insurance claim (and more) process run it's course, it gave you some odds you wouldn't have to cough up the $260, and you took those odds.

You can be sure I'll pursue with postal inspector. It's up to you to decide what to do in the interim.

It would appear that this thread has flushed out (and I do mean "flushed" with all it's implications) a number of inconsistencies in your behavior.

Now, at this stage, if anyone else doesn't understand why Anand's behavior set off my BS filters, well, go right ahead and work a deal with him.

Caveat Emptor.

You do not file a Fraud complaint, contact the Postal Inspectors and make statements simply to imply fraud.

Your thread here has made it clear, even to dummies like me that you have accused PP of criminal conduct. Mail Fraud is a Crime I think, correct?

If this thread was simply to imply, you passed the imply point a looooong time ago.

I suppose if you dropped the matter with the Inspectors, and withdrew your complaint and then filed a Small Claims action it would no llonger be a Criminal matter. Until then filing a criminal complaint and naming a suspect is a wee bit South of simply "implying".

But PP is certainly guilty, had he just refunded the money like he should have no one would be riveted to BFC and sending mass E-mails to Judge Joe Brown!!!

Quoted because this reads like so many other scammers' before they fully flamed out, while they were blaming all their misfortune on:

  1. a relative who didn't follow their directions;
  2. a relative who stole their knives;
  3. a roommate who scammed access to their BF account;
  4. a dog who ate the knives
Dayum..., getting caught for a Federal crime dude. That can't be any fun to contemplate.
rats...

Then why keep posting?
If you don't care what anyone thinks then why keep this thread alive.

I sure hope however that you have something more concrete to prove that the seller did something wrong in the postal process (lying to you means little).

What will probably happen is that you will fail to prove your claim and the postal Inspectors will advise you to file a small claims action for your money. Unless they can prove wrongdoing they cannot force PP to do squat.

And if whats been posted here is ALL the evidence, the Postal Inspectors will solve nothing................................

So now you are done posting and will wait for CHUCK KELLEY, POSTAL Inspector to solve this major event. When he is done, direct him to Brad Duncan, Steve Corkum and several others in the hall of shame who are ripe for investigating.

PS, If you presented anything that shows PP did wrong besides not immediately refunding you when the knife showed up I stilll would not side with your claim he is a criminal. But so far this is a huge drama will little criminal conduct proven.

Nah, what this is is you crying Crime with no proof...............................

Just quoted for the record. Basically, you are saying that even if PP did not ship the knife, with the intent to defraud Rob or the USPS, you would still side with him against Rob. Very interesting, I must remember what set of values you have and make sure never to deal with you, here or anywhere else.

You left out my filing a Dispute with Paypal. That won't produce anything however, a lesson to me, to anyone reading, not to use the "personal" feature, and a lesson not to deal with people who close Paypal accounts, like Anand. That second one might be a little tougher to "divine".

If the Postal Inspectors won't either 1) meet w/ Anand to "request" he reimburse me or 2) see if there is any video surveillance of the kiosk and if they 3) ask me to file a small claims court case or something, I'll do it... just to learn about the small claims process, and to make Anand's actions increasingly more painful for him the further he pushes this issue. And if I end up "eating" the $260, so be it. It should serve a warning to BF scammers to think twice... or more. Some of us won't roll over and play dead.

It'll also be instructive to me to quiz the postal inspector about his Federal "police-like" powers... exactly how far they go. Any way this turns out, I get an education, and I enjoy learning. :D Anand picked the wrong guy to lie to and attempt to hang out to dry.

sorry dude, but am i blaming any of the above for the problem? Am i blaming mr. angerer? I havent pointed fingers at anyone in this entire thread, only defended myself, using hard evidence.

nice job tool.

oh and by the way, i had closed my account on paypal on, or around October 29-30. That was 2 days BEFORE i even received your email about the envelope (which was dated November 1st)

its no ones business but mine why i closed my paypal account. Not even paypal itself asks so many questions. Jesus christ.

so basically what you're saying is that because you have nothing better to do with your time, that you're going to give me as much shit as possible after i offered you a refund, let it stand for 12 hours and then let it go? OK.

Let's see: maybe because you knew that there would be no knife in that envelope before he contacted you to tell you so... Maybe you also knew that you would not refund him, leaving him no choice but to file a dispute with PayPal.

Yeah, something like that. Life offers educational moments all the time, and I like to further my education... the opportunity to receive an education about Postal Inspectors and their interests and powers, about Small Claims Court... I might even learn a little about legal demand letters and the like. I also received an education about listening to my BS filters more... call it intuitional education.
