Pay it forward thread...the remake!

A little pay it forward story for you. Today I took my son shooting and met a guy who has kids who like to shoot but can't use the sights on his Colt 22 at all. He asked about the red dot on my son M&P15-22 and noticed how well my son shot. In the first thread I claimed a red dot site and was going to put it on my 10/22. Today I gave that red dot to this complete stanger so his kids could shoot with their dad. Gotta say this thread and whole idea is infectious!
 
Awesome Iceman. I always enjoy doing something for a young one. I went overboard with my kids and now my grand kids.
 
Hey - really appreciate the generosity and spirit of this thread. I'm offering up a Rough Rider Lockback canoe with tobacco bone scales. If anyone's interested let me know. Going to bed now and will check back in the morning.
 
Haha I actually just came from the bay looking at saks as well. There are some smoking deals on there but a few of those guys need to put down the crack pipe! I saw one Spartan (I think) for $99 or best offer!
 
Allen R. I would like the sharpening system.. I have bench stones and a strop but not a guided system. I am at a wedding out of town this weekend so pm/email me if I qualify. I have a multi-tool I am going to pay forward when I get back home.
 
My next item--- It's a mystery!!

I have an new knife. I did sharpen it on my new set up. It does have a few tiny scratches from getting over excited with my new diamond stones, but is new otherwise. AWESOME knife- too big and heavy for my pocket.
All I ask is that you have NOT taken anything from the P.I.F. threads and need a rock solid TACTICAL folder!
Don't just post "I'll take it" give all of us a reason you deserve it!!! :p I'll let some of the heavy givers help decide who gets it! Be creative with your replies!! Make us laugh....please!!

After it's "awarded" I will post a pic.

That is a great reminder folk, there is no need to limit this to an online thread. Look around, see a need, fill a need. Corral the loose grocery cart in the parking lot. Be situationally aware, both for your safety, but also where you can bless folk as you go through your day. It is deffinately a richer life than walking around grumbling focused on yourself.
