Pictures here! Photo Thread!

I’ve got a couple of David’s in the kitchen knife block, and all I can say is, yeah. Wow. They are such a joy to work with.
Totally can see why he's made it this thickness; it's thin enough to slice limes super thin and seems stout enough for daily stuff. Love the aggressive blade angle. Suretouch Surefeels nice. Loving it so far!20221103_153627.jpg

David made me this one most recently, antique natural micarta, with a crowned spine. Absolutely spectacular. Thank you David! That makes DM #5, I need to get a family photograph next.

Josh that is a real looker with the threads running through. Ill help with a picture of David’s work, what I like is the diversity of what he is able to produce.

3 1/2 finger grip, but the first knot of the lanyard effectively extends the grip (1st two pics):

Showing off the fine 20 dps edge on the LC200N blade:

Pic showing secure in Boltaron Sheath and how compact this is - it's totally hidden in my right front pocket. I have a ulti-clip laying around somewhere that I might use on the sheath to try on my belt or backpack:

Would love one in LC200N!

MagnaCut is more likely. I may never use LC200N again, given it's twice the cost of MagnaCut, and MagnaCut has thus far proven every bit as tough as necessary for any knife use I have put it to, and is so slightly less corrosion resistant than LC200N that there is virtually no difference. And it holds an edge better, so...

That's great to know - as I still have a Magnacut knife in production with you. My next David Mary Knife #2 in AEB-L should be here this week, and I'll get the pics up.

Thank you for your insight.

I do have one more blank in Lc200n to finish though. Like the one DocJekl posted above. And don't get me wrong, I love the alloy, but MagnaCut seems to make it obsolete.

Have used the M2 giveaway knife every day without fail, it has been on my person about half the time, and split time between the kitchen and the workshop as a utility knife the other 50% of the time. I have had to touch it up on the fine stones twice, but that was after much use cutting double thick cardboard and fiberglass insulation.

Very happy to have received this gracious gift.

Made a knife for Chris, who gifted it to his uncle. Here is a pic Chris snapped before doing so, and after a double application of tung oil to the oak handle.
