Pictures here! Photo Thread!

I've been carrying this one for a couple of days. The first of these was me playing around with a new thrower in 660nm deep red. It looks a little pink in the picture but it's a wonderfully rich red close to the edge of the visible spectrum.

Cutting darn good for .140 saber. One day I need a 3/32” FFG model. Can’t wait to get her outside and beat on her more. I foresee her being my go to fixed from now on for chores, work and utility.

Drilled out a 2nd hole and attached a DCC clip for iwb/aiwb

Why? Sick of wearing out your front right pocket? ;) 😁

Beauty of a knife.

My Red Rhino has landed!

It feels good in the hand, very grippy. It's almost the same size as my Wharntastic, but with a slightly shorter blade (3" instead of 3.125"), and slightly longer handle (3.375" vs 3.125"). That lets me get almost a full 4-finger grip. Both knives came sharpened well.

The size falls between my one-off Speedy Weasel V0.9 or Itty Bitty Bitey Birdie and my 4" Kagitsume (the Pickle). The folded sheath is a bit smaller than the Whartastic sheath, making it ideal for front pants pocket carry, although I can't really feel a difference in their total weight. The Wharntastic sheath would be ideal to install one of my Ulti-clips to clip it onto to my belt or a pocket.

From what I see those a just about perfect for anything that you might need to cut.

Finally received my Rainy Day USA (a gift for my 9 Year old daughter). I must say it feels great in the hand. Long enough for 3.5 of my oversized fingers. Grind is annoyingly even (way to perfect for a knife I don't get to keep), color scheme is cool. Handle texture is grippy without being to aggressive. All in all I'd say it's the nicest knife I'll ever give away. With any luck it'll be cutting vegetables this weekend and marshmallow sticks by campfire season. It should be a good one for her to imbue with a lifetime of memories.

I took a new family photo of all 6 my David Mary Custom Knife collection. I still have two on order - A Badger Scout in AEB-L, and new model in Magnacut that I asked for and named but don't know if I can share the name yet...

We call them:

Itty Bitty Bitey Birdie
Speedy Weasel v0.9
Red Rhino
Wharntastic
I Dunno. Really, I don't know >> Mini-Chef? Kitchen-Leaf? Round-Belly? Belly-Up? Kitchen Rascal? Leaf-Dicer?
Kagitsume

I was informed by Wild Willie on the phone today that Mister Noodles is not as well known as I think it is. Here is Mr. Noodles, and why I thought of it for DocJekl DocJekl 's crosscut Micarta handled knife:

I couldn't find a pic of it when it's still hard and right out of the package, but the noodles are all lined up uniformly at that stage. The grain of the handle material made me think of how it looks at that point.
