I was informed by Wild Willie on the phone today that Mister Noodles is not as well known as I think it is. Here is Mr. Noodles, and why I thought of it for DocJekl 's crosscut Micarta handled knife:

I couldn't find a pic of it when it's still hard and right out of the package, but the noodles are all lined up uniformly at that stage. The grain of the handle material made me think of how it looks at that point.

So we had the opportunity tonight to cut some veggies. I presented my daughter with several good options to be fair without pushing my wants on her. The Grohmann, the white river small game, the Rainy Day USA in magnacut where the top runners. The small game felt decent in hand but the rainy day was an absolute hit. And wow it cuts veggies awesome. Thank you David my daughter loves it.
