That is beautiful! I'd be afraid to stick it in my pocket...keys, change, money clip etc. might scratch it up! I'd have to carry that one when wearin my Sunday go to meeting duds.

You're right, it would be a shame to scratch it up, so I'm going to try making a sheath for it. Never done that before, so I'm curious if it will work.

Edit: I made a sheath and was able to find a working (low quality) camera to take a few pictures of it. Here it is.

Your sheath looks pretty good. The stitches are a little rough, but I'm sure it's not that easy freehand. It will definitely serve its purpose, to protect...good job! :thumbup:

Just got this D2 Leek, it's sharp! The opening is a little stiff and it doesn't open the blade fully every time, but I hope it will improve. I ordered Damascus leek at the same time, but they ran out of stock

I have been always wanting this knife and stray away from it just this week thinking that the grip is probably no different then any other aluminum handle Kershaw so I ordered the Blur with the plastic handle - now I hear you say this...now I want my OCC Blur again - what a beauty!

you are absolutely right, it is the only other knife i own other than a kershaw, and benchmade elishwitz tanto CE model. 77 of 1000, never got the model name when i bought it on a trip a long time ago. it has seen some serious abuse.

They used to be findable in SnapOn's online catalog by searching on KER1440...you could try that. However, my camo one came from ebay.

So with the arrival of my two blue blurs, i thought it'd be nice to take a Blur Family shot. so here are two of my blurs, ive got a BL, a BLSTBLK, and SG2 a G10, an OCC, and a Red Rescue......oh and a s60v. interestingly enough i was positioning for a 3rd shot of them all bent in a geometric design, but i cut myself on the s60v so the shot came out blurry (not in the good way, and yes im stupid enough to let my finger bleed while i try to take the last shot. oh well. enjoy.
