PM2Phanatic is not good to go!!!

Lot of people jumping the gun, especially after a member just had a tracking number update. Not sure why theres unfounded speculation about pm2 being the same person as jswish either.

10 days and the knife I paid for hasn't moved an inch. In that same time I've sold and shipped multiple knives that have all arrived safely.

Perhaps the person claiming the knife is in the possession of the Post Office can provide the tracking number to a moderator to confirm it's actually there. I'd be happy to provide the tracking number to any moderator so they can see the knife I paid for hasn't been shipped to the Post Office for 10 days.

The member that claimed his knife was shipped has a total of 4 messages over the accounts entire duration. 2 of them are in this thread. Could easily be a burner account used by a scammer.

As to why people are speculating, this pasted link thread should help to make things a bit more clear.

"Yikes, guess I'm not the only one. I bought a Bugout Titanium from him last week and have heard nothing since. Provided me with a USPS tracking that goes no where (package was never received by USPS). Out $170. Definitely only going to do G&S from now on..."

"Well this explains why the Microtech I paid JKnight $300 for last week shows as still waiting to be received by the post office, and he has stopped responding to my PM's. I'm pretty certain l used G&S."

"He got me for $200 and I have confirmed he previously shipped the knife to another member then sold it again to me.

Here is my tracking # after I had to ask him for it. (is he seeing my post-ban messages?, because if not, we need to stop banning members when they have unfinished deals) Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS, USPS Awaiting Item
December 21, 2021"

Seems like the same thing Dominincy is going through and the same MO I was hit with. Purchase knife. Receive tracking number. Knife never ships. Communication ends.

Hi, I'm that guy. Really sorry if my participation here stirred the pot, that was not my intention. I'm happy to share any information I can that will help people. I realize my very scant participation on bladeforums looks really shady though and I can butt out if it isn't helpful, really only hoped to give another data point and maybe some hope since it appears my item did ship (now wondering if the knife will actually be in the box when it arrives). If I can give any helpful information just let me know.

He posted a PM2 in S35VN on /r/knife_swap and I grabbed it, communication was fast and the tracking did update today (I can share the tracking in a PM if that is helpful).

I only created this account years back to buy a sebenza and am obviously not an active participant in BF so I can exit if you'd all prefer.

Good morning everyone. I just saw this thread and decided to chime in. I made 3 separate purchases with PM2Phanatic last week. Two of them were combined into the same parcel and there were two separate
tracking numbers given to me.
9405 5282 0633 5579 4436 19
9405 5282 0633 5579 0435 81
Both of them (as of 1 minute ago) showed the same status:
Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item
DENTON,TX 76209
I purchased using PP G&S and just finished filing WITH PP that there were problems with these items. I was waiting to hear back from the seller but after seeing he was active on Reddit yesterday i decided to proceed with reporting
to PP. I am also unable to view his user profile as of Sunday (12/26). Will update with more info if i get any.

He was actively selling knives 3 days ago on reddit, so it seems that the holidays interfered with his ability to ship the knives he sold last week to the buyers…

I alerted him on Reddit to this thread. He has only been a member there for 26 days.

Pete1977 I can confirm that is the email i used to send fund to via PP G&S. I won't condemn the guy (just yet) because USPS hasn't exactly been a speedy shipper as of late and it is the holiday season still.
I agree though that these items should show movement within the system however the stories i have read seem consistent. He also told me he was using a pack & ship service. Services such as these as well as PP
click & ship (in my personal opinion) do not seem to update the tracking #'s as often as dropping the items off and purchasing services directly from the USPS. Keeping my fingers crossed but not going to hold my breath.

He has now blocked me as well. I can see our message exchanges but when I click to go to his profile I receive the "Oops, we ran into some problems" message. I guess the only thing I can do now is hope PayPal credits my account. Hopefully everyone who has done business with him will see this thread and file claims.

Is it possible for a moderator to view his activity and contact the rest of the people who he/she "sold" knives to and inform them they should probably file a claim? As previously mentioned it might help to red flag the person in PayPal if he's gotten multiple claims against him.

I dealt with him on reddit a couple weeks ago, communication was quick and no issue however I was the seller.
Do you have a real name for him or any contact info? Address or email? that may help the half-dozen members waiting for some response re: the whereabouts of their knives.

Have any of the tracking numbers been updated?

Even if this isn’t a scam or theft and just massive irresponsibility and immaturity on the part of PM2Phanatic PM2Phanatic , negative feedback should be given once the knives are received in order to save prospective future buyers the inconvenience of dealing with a flaky seller.

"negative feedback should be given once the knives are received in order to save prospective future buyers the inconvenience of dealing with a flaky seller."

I looked to see if I could leave negative feedback but because he's blocked me it doesn't look like it's possible.

You still are able to leave feedback.

You can do so through the sales thread or you can click his name and click his feedback score to go to his feedback page.

That is still accessible when someone limits who can view their profile.

I certainly feel for all of those affected by these recent events and I'm sorry, I've been in your shoes and it sucks.

Looking at PM2Phanatic's Reddit activity I'd guess it's a female, under 30, from the immediate gratification generation.
Probably not an "intentional" thief, but young enough that (s)he still doesn't mind burning a few bridges by taking money from a few "old men",
in the same way that good credit isn't seen as a priority, and stealing from those who "can afford it" is a moral grey area at best.

Seeing that (s)he is still actively acquiring knives on Reddit, and because Reddit is irresistible to the meme-minded, and therefore more "fun" than this site is,
I'd say (s)he moved on and will consider this place just one more boring old bridge burned that (s)he has no intention of crossing again.

Just the ramblings of an old man.

One of his or her reddit comments 🙄
