Complete package is here.Confirming the seller's address is a huge contribution--I'm not sure you could have been a bigger help than that. Was there a name associated with the return address?
What PayPal account did you send money to? Is it the same account the others paid to?If they were going to steal money, why request goods and services?
Just confirmed, same one as everyone else. What PayPal account did you send money to? Is it the same account the others paid to?
They removed it and threatened to ban me for doxxing
This whole situation sucks, but I for one am also sick of some of the people here and everywhere for that matter thinking that anyone under the age of 40 is a fucking scumbag asshole. I'm 33 for the record, own my own home and have built a small business from the ground up. Have I had help, yes. However that doesn't change the fact that there are plenty of people under 40 who go about their lives and and live completely productively and professionally. It is also surprising that Robin Wallace is 47 years old and not in their early 20s because this is highly immature behavior.

This whole "What do you expect they're not 40 yet?" Thing is bullshit. Lots of old fuck scumbags out there too.
Edited for some wording I found redundant.
Woah I didnt mean to strike a nerve there and I won’t get into a discussion about maturity levels of people of different ages when this thread is about trying to get people who were scammed their money back.Another thing, maybe those of a more advanced age should take a look in the mirror at how they raised their children... From my experience assholes beget assholes, I was raised to fulfill my life's obligations. If there was less mollycoddling done by the generation that raised the one that they're bitching about maybe things would be better in the world.
Understood, my goal wasn't to start a dumpster fire... I do hope everyone in this situation is made whole, things like this throw egg in every enthusiasts face.Woah I didnt mean to strike a nerve there and I won’t get into a discussion about maturity levels of people of different ages when this thread is about trying to get people who were scammed their money back.
PP gives them 30 days to reply, for what that means to you.I'll wait and see what happens.
One never knows what may have happened. Like most others, I paid G&S, using a CC, through PayPal.
So, I'm not at any loss of money, regardless of a few days, waiting to see what happens.
If paypal drags their feet, once I file a claim, my CC won't...
Taking G&S payments, as an attempt to scam, doesn't follow suit.
No it doesn’t but if the tracking is not updated by now the knives never shipped. I got a knife from ebay that I bought Sunday and it arrived yesterday. The tracking updated just fine. Whatever the reason the knives haven’t shipped is inexcusable at this point.I'll wait and see what happens.

Yeah, Jeremy Swisher.. I got lucky, on that one! Atleast it was just a condition issue. You had a close call with a scammer just recently with buying an Autonomy 2 in late August didn’t you? I almost bought that knife but you beat me to it and I dodged the bullet.
You should probably be careful when disputing a PayPal transaction with your CC, when choosing your CC as the funding source for your PayPal transactions. PayPal is your payment processor, between buyer/seller. As you know, there are many ways to fund your purchase (PP balance, bank account, CC, etc). When you choose your CC as the funding source and then dispute the charge, what you are actually saying is PayPal by error or fraud charged your CC. PayPal may look the other way on that practice, if you do it once. Repeatedly doing is is prolly going to trigger some action from PayPal you may not like.Yeah, Jeremy Swisher.. Used, not "like new"..
For 175$ and it just needed sharpened. It's a user, now!
Unfortunately, most weren't that "lucky" in dealing with him...
Guess I'll start a claim and give it a go.. I won't be waiting 30 days, for a response from seller, with paypal, tho..
I'm not paying interest on my CC, waiting for the money to be refunded.
My understanding is that when somebody tries to defraud you via PayPal, PayPal is going to try to reimburse you by tapping into the offending party's account (your reimbursement is not going to come out of their pocket). If the criminal party was smart enough to disconnect all funding sources from PayPal, then you are going to be out of luck. I believe PayPal will tell you to go pound sand. This is where the heavy-hitting credit card company, who has a massive amount of leverage over PayPal (and anyone else who uses their services) comes to your rescue. This is partially why you pay credit card companies--they provide a beneficial consumer protection service. I sort of get your point, but the counterpoint is that PayPal is always touting their buyer protection as a reason to use their service. In these cases where they do not deliver, they are basically saying "read the fine print, sucker". This is somewhat unethical, so I have no problem with bringing in the credit card company as an equalizer. You should probably be careful when disputing a PayPal transaction with your CC, when choosing your CC as the funding source for your PayPal transactions. If PP can't get the job done, then I have every right to bring to bear whatever is necessary (within legal confines) to recoup my funds. PP's agreement to the process is not needed. You should probably be careful when disputing a PayPal transaction with your CC, when choosing your CC as the funding source for your PayPal transactions.
