Absolutely my friend. Agree 100%. Let alone the fact that he's previously been banned... Anybody compare IP addresses? I know if I had received an empty box I would've hit the damn roof! This is unacceptable, at the bare minimum.

Aw man, don't let this deter you. I've done tons of trades on here and never been burned. It's actually odd to have a bad experience doing business on bladeforums.
 
I would have done an intercept instead of waiting for this guy to possibly screw you over again...... don't be surprised if the knife shows up and isn't as described.

a USPS intercept isn't 100% guaranteed and every day you waited the percentage has decreased. I had to call the post office in west Virginia and then they called the carrier to make sure it wasn't delivered. My package was actually in the delivery truck when they caught it lol...... I also sent the liar's knife back and washed my hands of the entire ordeal.
 
This guy really pisses me off .. That he is conducting his day to day without addressing this. We always should wait for the other persons side but it is clear after reading his email exchange with the OP that he clearly thinks he is within his rights. Sad thing is that this is far from closure .

I replied to his previous email with: I’m surprised that you actually think this trade is still happening, it’s not. You need to send my knife back to me when it arrives.

Especially a knife valued at $250 and then another $100, one knife gone missing or stolen with no recourse is one knife too many. In addition, I gave you my word I would take it and you were kind enough to hold it for me till we worked out the fine details. Seriously, why have you not contacted usps and did an intercept. I hope the mods ban Ryan Posey and put him as a sticky so everyone knows not to deal with him, as this is the second time he has tried to screw the community.

So I've dealt with this character in the past....'nough said. However, if you agree to a trade deal....you honor that deal. I've seen far too much of this behavior lately.......sad but true.

I have been watching this thread since its inception. ssgwhite, I wish you all the best with getting out of this fiasco with no loss. Please keep us posted.

Ryan Posey has blown his rep here and shown that he has no integrity. His antics are among some of the most juvenile and sleazy I have ever seen on this site. I hope that this thread goes long enough and is big enough to show up on any Google search that is done for Ryan Posey.
