I love my GEC collection. I love that there is a forum knife. If I’m eligible great, if I’m not, I’ll grab a regular run of this upcoming PPP.

Some of the really rude comments just proves what everyone has told me. I now see who to avoid.

As far as the the FB group 98% of the members are great guys and great conversations are brought up on a daily over there. Anyone here that thinks otherwise is just narrow minded. Or spouting opinions on a topic they know little about. @waverave does a fantastic job with the group and is ushering in a new generation of collectors.

High horses need to be stepped down from here. Otherwise, make the porch it’s own forum separate from BF so you can deny future members.

You Facebookers always have to start off by running down our forum. Is it any wonder that you get people's backs up?! We had the same tales of woe last year, and where are all those folks now? They were gone as soon as they snatched a forum knife, and some of those knives were being sold at crazy prices while the knives were still being mailed out. Sorry, but I don't think your post earns you a welcome here 👎

Where did the FB hurt you?

Cannot go around just painting all “facebookers” with a broad brush. There is a group on FB, that I won’t name, that does indeed have TONS of flippers. I was kicked out of that club for calling them out. It was not the club we’re talking about here. So quit your complaining. Just stop. I don’t care how long you’ve been here. You don’t own this forum and your comments are just off putting for the whole porch.

Yeah, I've been keeping my head down! 🤔😁 When 'THE Group' announces a knife of their own, and I gatecrash FB, tell you how rotten and unfriendly you all are, and still want one of your club knives, I think you'd be entitled to call me rude. And your opinion might actually mean something 😉

Honestly, the way you act here would get you removed from that group. Maybe try being a nicer person 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don’t know. A few months maybe. Was trying to track down a Northwoods Norfolk in purple camel bone. The I got into it with one particular member pretty bad. Then the admin removed me. It’s ok. All they did was run ridiculous raffles and buy knives low and flip the on the bay for 3-4x as much.

yes. i am one of them, and i leave that group every few months cause i get sick and tired of all the flipping that happens. I also block a lot of people for flipping too. I didnt say it was good or bad, I was just saying what happened. I was busy working in the hospital when I saw the post.
 
When I was researching my article on the lambfoot pattern I recall coming across an article on the history of the rabbit problem in Australia (and it might have touched on the Bunny Knife). I think it came from here. Does anyone have a link to an article like that?

(I know my lambfoot article was not well received here but I put work into and am proud of it so I link it here unabashedly)

Well, I hope that you found one. I don’t know much about FB and I’ve never had an account. I do know that there’s no knife that I would abandon my moral compass to obtain. That particular club sounds dreadful.

you too eh? she booted me ages ago for calling her out. There is no secret who that is for sure. she scoops ups knives here for those "waffles"
