Thanks Perry, and redsparrow, I love the deep blue you achieved on the sowbelly. Great jigging on that one, too.

I still want to see y'all's top threes, but if you've got more "pretties" . . . then show 'em. This is too much fun to stop.

Hey Jeff, is that #73 Tidioute "Factory Test Production Run" original in it's Box Elder covers? Who Knew?!! Not me obviously:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

As Jeff requested, I showed my favorite three in my first post and then sat back and picked my teeth with another favoriet and then I got to thinking about this Schatt&Morgan Railsplitter with ringed, pinched, slanted bolsters. Taken years ago before I started using my board and before Queen/Schatt&Morgan started to go down hill with the start up of GEC.

WoW!!!
What a great idea for a thread Jeff.
There are some amazing knives being shown. I have to go back through all of these again and rewrite my "Need" list...
Some truly amazing stuff being shown folks.
I am going to have to have a look at my collection and see which ones are my favorite eye candy. This will be tough. I like em all.
Burnt Stag

It was hard FW. Since everyone is telling everyone else what their favorites are, I'll chip in. @Chief John your GEC 15 in ivory? Is gorgeous. And of course Gary Peregrin Peregrin has to post the Halfrich Rounder.
Can we get a "I like them all" button for this t.hread.

Alan, Here's that Rounder, along with the others that I choose from most everyday. I find that after many, many years of carrying a knife everyday, I can do what I need to do with almost any knife. With that in mind I choose what I carry mostly because I like the looks, the feel, the craftsmanship, the materials and the men that made them. I also generally have 2 or three knives on me.
L to R
John Lloyd Trapper, 4", CPM-154CM clip blade and great stag.
Brent Cramer Lanny's Clip Jr., 3 1/2", CPM-154CM blade and great stag.
Jerry Halfrich Small Rounder, 3 5/8", CPM-154CM Zulu blade and some wonderful jigged bone.
Joel Chamblin Wharncliff Trapper, 3 1/4", ATS-34 clip and wharncliff blades and some great stag.

It's probably obvious I like stag and good stainless steel. The Lloyd Shadow has become my most carried slip joint. I think it's the combination of the excellent materials and how it feels in my hand, as well as the fact that it appears almost primitive in a very classy way.

Some great posts, folks! I'd like a "I like them all" button too!

Thanks Gary. Those are definitely fit for the penthouse. As you said I'm sure I could get by with almost any single one of my knives. The perfect all around beater that fits the bill is my Douk-Douk
It looks like hell, works nice and smooth, sharpens up easily and is totally disposable. Yet I carry several hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars worth of pocket jewelry. I guess that's why they call us knife knuts. Keep 'em coming guys!

When I think about the most aesthetically pleasing attributes in a pocket knife, this is the image I think of:

20180713_150859_2.jpg

- The classic Barehead Jack with a Spear main and dark, Ebony scales.

- Deeply jigged, Amber Bone on a two-blade, Clip main Barlow.

- A svelte, gentlemanly Lockback. The combination of ebony, nickle silver, and a touch of brass is timeless.
