Good post, Wowbagger. I'm a sucker for green bone, and the Boker herringbone jigging is certainly great stuff.
Augie, the Challenge bone color and jigging is second to none, just fabulous!
Duncan, that lineup of Sheep Dip Wharncliffes is an almost unimaginable find, and the "divot" stag #85 is an eye popper.

Everyone, thank you for keeping this thread alive with beautiful cutlery; it has exceeded my wildest expectations.
Keep 'em comin'!

An under-appreciated knife, the #38 Special, it has flowing lines, threaded bolsters, domed pins, and this one has POPCORN!

Amazing piece Jeff.

First of all, your knife is fantastic! Second, you taught me something today! I’m almost ashamed to admit this, but I’ve often wondered what those grooves in the bone were. Sometimes I overlook the obvious. Mystery solved! Thanks! -Lance

I think those bone marrow canals add a lot of character to a knife. Even though very faint, that is a bone marrow canal on the mark side of the knife - not a crack.

And don't be ashamed to admit anything. We all learn something new everyday.

Thanks again! I love the looks of them.

Thanks, Alan, well matched stag is always great, but with more character to both sides, even better!
John, the Wharncliff is undoubtedly the most graceful of blade shapes, and the curved handle completes the presentation.

How about a limited edition antique green bone Case Swayback Jack?

This thread just continues to get better and better!

Purdy knives, Mike!
I guess I need to show this even though it took me shooting over 50 shots before getting a measly 4 worth showing. BLMOP IS HARD TO SHOOT!!!
That said, this knife is special to me. So much color and unique style of construction. BG42 steel! Who would put a swedge on a pen blade? DB!
Queen made, Dan Burke English Jack in BLMOP.

Perry, that DB has always been a favorite of mine from afar . . . never pulled the trigger on one. Yours is GREAT!
