That is so funny. The bearing system is the exact system found in countless chinese knives. There is no doubt where they come from.

you will see that both bearings from WE Knives (they also have steel "orb" bearings) are both the same exact bearings offered by qmaster (use the way back archive to see the older picture of the ss single row "orb" bearings on qmasters webpage).

Willful ignorance is the state and practice of ignoring any sensory input that appears to contradict one’s inner model of reality. At heart, it is almost certainly driven by confirmation bias.

It differs from the standard definition of “ignorance“ — which just means that one is unaware of something — in that willfully ignorant people are fully aware of facts, resources and sources, but refuse to acknowledge them. Indeed, calling someone "ignorant" shouldn’t really be a pejorative, but intentional and willful ignorance is an entirely different matter.

It is sometimes referred to as tactical stupidity.

Depending on the nature and strength of an individual’s pre-existing beliefs, willful ignorance can manifest itself in different ways. The practice can entail completely disregarding established facts, evidence and/or reasonable opinions if they fail to meet one’s expectations. Often excuses will be made, stating that the source is unreliable, that the experiment was flawed or the opinion is too biased. More often than not this is simple circular reasoning: “I cannot agree with that source because it is untrustworthy because it disagrees with me”.

In other slightly more extreme cases, willful ignorance can involve outright refusal to read, hear or study, in any way, anything that does not conform to the person’s worldview.

Ah, the terrorism of fact and logic.

It's about time you show up to defend all things knock-off.

Yeah what kind of a moron views information without a preexisting negative bias to come to different results? Clearly ignorance to not automatically attribute any small thing to be clearly damning. That is literally the mentality of conspiracy theories.

As usual, you're right and everyone else is wrong.

But it's really simple to prove you are right. Produce any evidence that the knives are made in the U.S. - any.

All the supposed evidence cited by the apologists like you came down to unsupported claims by a known liar, and all the clams are fantastical - the multi-story factory/museum when we have current pictures of the single story residence, the supposed entity that turns out to be a trade name only, his lack of connection to QTRM5TR when it turns out the brand QTRM5TR is owned by a company he set up and for which he is the only principal and agent of record. Just "small" things. Right.

You've gone down and you went down ugly.

Keep digging.

Ok here it is ,the roper knife and the we knife both on the same piece of machinery in China this was posted on another knife website a while back.

What is interesting about your comment is that I am not defending anything. I was merely pointing out that quartermaster is using a Chinese pivot system used by the names I mentioned, and its a glaring piece of evidence that they are in fact NOT American made. I would appreciate it if you would refrain from trying to start an unprovoked argument. And if you are going to come at me at least have your facts and accusations straight.

LOL First you completely butcher the term "skeptic", and now you're essentially saying "Facts that prove a position I don't agree with? MUST BE BIAS!" LOL dude, you skipped the shovel and went straight to the huge excavator. Well done.

Someone should call the We knife co and say they are Jared and he needs a run of ropers you've been making with anodized blue scales and see what they say. ha !

Those can be purchased on the well known Chinese merchant sites for very cheap. They're all over the place. Like I said a few hundred posts ago, they're lying about the bearings and they're lying about everything else. There is no USA factory. The only reason anyone defends quartermaster is because they're a shill. Simple as that.
