Question about what to do with some old knives

I have gone back to that comment and edited it... I think I'm all above board there now!

If you ask one of our mods, they may be willing to move this thread to the Levine forum for you.

However, if you continue posting like this (below), there or here, I think you're risking an infraction.

You've had a lot of help from members here Iris, please don't turn our sub-forum into a market-place.

Bahahaha!!! Is that coming from an Aussie by chance?! Figures ;) Well I'm Dutch by birth so HA! To be honest... I was waiting for the Sheep jokes considering the 'Sheep Dips' topic ;)

Sorry JB I think I might have created a confusion . Apologies....although
Like most kiwis she needs help:D

Oh great! Thanks Ramrodmb. I'll go and tick that box. :)
4 boxes were found. I've not yet photographed two of the boxes and their knives, and only one set is currently on show here on my thread in bladeforums :) The other set I have photographed is located on a mysterious site, on a mysterious island in a far far away land... is that mystical enough for ya? ;)

Iris,
You have to go to your profile/settings and check the box for 'save a copy of sent PMs'.
If I may ask, How many boxes did you find?

Is that an echidna?

I just want to say how much I am enjoying following this thread.

Carry on.

Hiya :) Thanks heaps!!! I've been going to the last page every time lol... This will make it easier!
It's a baby hedgehog :) Just a pic I found online once but how adoreable is he/she!!!???

Good work, Meako! I agree the handles are jigged bone, commonly called "Stag" in the trade years ago, as opposed to "genuine stag " which is of course, antler.
I must obtain a mystical Fez!!

Cheers Charlie-
i'd lend you my Fez but its 12 sizes too big for normal human heads:D

Jack I think its about time we brought in a new amendment -"Thou shalt not make fun the Kiwis anymore!" hah ...NOT.

Anyway I think things have been left wide open for this --
Only I'm alowed to say this OK-
That's not an Echidna

That's an Echidna!

I took this one right outside the back fence.

Cheers

Iris you are lovely! Don't let these w-----s give you the business about being a Kiwi. There's definitely a learning curve as far as knowing what's ok and what's not, as far as posting. Charlie (Waynorth), Jack Black, and it pains me to admit, Meako are three of the most knowledgeable fellows we have around here. Where is Duncan? Doesn't he live inthe land of giant butterflies too? Perhaps he could be of help. Still haven't finished the Ettrick thread, but am reading. Iris two questions for you : do they still call unmarried women spinsters there? And have you seen the movie "Bride by Mistake" ? Good luck with these fascinating knives, I kinda want one now. :roll eyes:
Thanks, Neal

Wow! I have never carried as many knives as that Echidna is carrying!!*
:D

*but close!

Hey, don't try and embroil me in your Kiwi-baiting, you're on your own there my friend (well, you and the other 23 Million Australians)! :D

Cute animal! :) You got some weird and interesting ones. We've only about half a dozen wild mammals left here!

Haha :) Thanks Neal!
I don't mind about the kiwi jokes. My hubby gets it worse as he's an Aussie living in kiwi-land!
Yes, unmarried women are still called spinsters and no I've not seen the movie you speak of... dare I ask why?

I might yet sell some of them on their own so keep in touch ;)

Come on Iris, you're supposed to be learning, so stop that stuff here! No more talk of selling any of your knives here on this forum please

Neal, I'd never heard NZ referred to as the land of Giant butterflies?
