man am i jealous. how does the 0551 compare to the 0561 is slicyness. I know the military is slicier but is the 0561 better than the 0551?

intriguing....I may be able to make a Nessmuk out of a properly shaped Ol' Hickory....Would be a cheap and easy way to try the blade-style out.

I handled the bhk 'muck this weekend. Pretty comfy. Much more so than the bushcrafter.

Here's one I modded up about twenty years ago. Carried it for a long time now it works in the shop (hence the overspray on it). It's an interesting knife pattern, great skinners.
