Well brother, you made an excellent choice. The FK2 is my favorite fricking fixed blade. Just a phenomenal knife, and that belly is oh so sweet. If I had to choose my favorite CPK out of my five, it’s the FK2 day in and day out.

Amazing!! I love that sheath! All my fixed blades are massive Bussekin and Beckers, 7” blades or bigger. I wanted the best sub 5” Fixed blade I know of, and I was already familiar with CPK, so for me it was a no brainer. I love my 110, but I’m a fixed blade guy through and through.

At the same time, I can tell you with no uncertainty that, so far, there hasn’t been a CPK made that will stop you from
wanting “just one more”. Trust me, I have been looking for it, and it isn’t out there. Just joint the CPK of the Month Club like me and you’ll be alright.

No need for moderation on my account. Just some good natured ribbing going on. Grenock Grenock and I are good friends despite my character flaws. I’ve been called much worse than a Ding Dong. I might have been offended if he called me a Twinkie. He didn’t go there, so I won’t need to go all woke and cancel him. We are just two goofballs who share a common love of Carothers knives.

I apologize if our banter created the perception of drama on Nathan’s sub-forum.

Yeah Grenock Grenock is a bit of a drama queen...no is it a drag queen? I can't remember, but not surprised that he has caused more drama

I thought the DEK1 was gonna be the meal ticket for me compared to the FK2 until I started carrying and using them. The FK2 won out and is now my favorite woods/camping knife. The handle feels slightly long for the blade length just holding it but in use is where it really shines. (I don’t think the extra little blade length of the BFK is enough to get me away from the FK2).

Also, don’t feel bad about missing out on those rag scales. They were buffed and had that swamp green/brown look to them. If you find a set of unbuffed, they will show a lot more color and look like the insides of those scales. 👍🏻

dig away at that knucklehead. I just wanted people who are new here to know that it is joking. Some people are very literal, and tone doesn't read in text.
