  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

If you're not familiar...

Boomshanka definition
Filters. (idiomatic, UK, humorous) A wish of happiness. Purportedly a literal translation (from an unknown language) is, "May the seed of your loin be fruitful in the belly of your woman" interjection.

Some used to say it in India before a chillum. I don't know why I know that.

Skyler is feeling sympathy pains for Sadie. She's been barfing up bile and such multiple times since about 6.30 this morning. Last bout was a few minutes ago. Stomach sounds like a child's squeeze toy.

Hopefully she'll feel better soon and regain her appetite so I can give her some famotidine.

Oh no! I'm sorry Elliot! Luckily we have gone 24 hours now with no accidents.

I think things are looking a bit better. She actually took a few small pieces of Old Mother Hubbard biscuit and I was able to slip the famotidine in with it.

If she is starting to get an appetite back, (though not yet for her kibble), that's a good sign. Plus she just drank.

Thanks for the good thoughts sent her way. She appreciates it.

Good vibes and prayers sent for feeling better 👍😁

Sorry to report that Skyler's turnaround was short lived. I noticed her bowel movements looked a bit soft today...and tonight she lost her dinner despite having an appetite. So, I don't know if it's excess acid, (from anxiety due to thunderstorms), or a bug...

We shall see. It's so rare for her to be sick, it always comes as a shock. She's very hearty. Our Weim was much more inclined to various issues.
