Brief update...
So, Skyler was exhibiting symptoms of pancreatitis...though her blood and tests indicated "normal" pancreatic readings. Slightly elevated or depressed liver reading, but not enough to be of concern according to the vet who treated her yesterday. (I liked this guy a lot, first time I've met him.)
Anyway, they had her on IV fluids all day as they said she was dehydrated. Brought her home yesterday evening after they were done with x-rays, ultrasound, blood, and whatever other tests they did. So far, it's all idiopathic as far as root causes of the issues.
The good news, such as it is at the moment, is that when I brought her back this morning they didn't feel she needed additional fluids and removed the catheter which had been left in overnight. She has not been vomiting since Monday morning, which is good. We'll see what her next movement looks like whenever she has one again.
She has a good appetite, (I'm only feeding her "EN" for the next few days along with the famotidine until we gradually get her back on her normal food.)
So, that's about it. Hoping for the best...but realistic about the worst.
Appreciate all of you who have expressed concern for our sweet girl. ("Sweet" may be overstating it a bit.)
I need to decompress.
Oh, and Go Rangers!
