The mill lathe combos aren't very good. Too many compromises in the design. It would be like trying to make your Toyota Camry also be a good lawn mower.

Buy a new small Jet lathe and an old used mill.

I think the first 100 within the first minute sounds like a decent estimate.

If you are referring to JoshK, he's been AWOL and hasn't been seen around here for a long time! It's quite strange because wasn't he a Pirate member plus being the administrator of the CPK FaceBook group or sumptin?

Good point. I just looked and he hasn't been on BF since January. Hope he's doing OK.

P.S.
It was just a semi-joking reference (as pointed out by Marc) that there will likely be a few folks who'll be preordering twice as many, due to the 50:50.
