Would you recommend one over the other between Skinfix and O'Keeffe's? And any particular version of Skinfix? It appears they have a few.
One single instance of working for a couple of hours on metal parts with metal tools with no gloves on in -12f to -14f temps many years ago, seems to have lowered my hands' ability to withstand the cold.
Ever since then, it appears I'm more susceptible to dry, cracked skin between my knuckles if my hands are exposed to cold winter air for too long.
I've never tried either of those products, but when my hands were raw, cracked and chapped and nothing seemed to work (tried moisturizer, Neosporin, Vaseline), I tried all the skin ointments on the shelf at the pharmacy that mentioned "dry, cracked skin", and for some reason, Psoriasin ended up working for me.
Over the years, when I've been dumb enough to expose my hands to the winter cold for too long, I've actually tried using different things on each hand when they've gotten like that, and the Psoriasin has been the one effective thing thus far. Relief within 2-3 days. Healed in 5-7 days. I wouldn't mind trying something else though.
Well, this is the one I use:

When I followed the link it shows this packaging now:

So interesting. It looks basically the same. I guess the fragrance-free version I use is no more. I have tubes tucked all over so I it would be a while before I try the new one but I will for sure.
We use this one on the baby, it works great too but I don't like it cause it leaves a bit of a greasy feeling which I can't stand. I'd rather be red cracked and dry than greasy.

I don't use the O'Keeffe's anymore, basically because of the ingredients vs alternatives, I switched to the Skin Fix. I still have it here somewhere though.
