Yesterday, somehow I came across a news feed on the Eurovision Song Contest's 2023 winner. Having lived in Europe during my more formative years and having the proclivity for taking the p*ss outta cheesy lyrics and still 80's style of music, I clicked on the link. What I saw and heard can not be undone but I have suffered so that you lot, will not have to! Let's just say that the winner was from Sweden and after almost 40 friggin years later on, they still can not shake ABBA's influences! Mamma Mia!

What I saw and heard can not be undone but I have suffered so that you lot, will not have to! I watch the BBC News quite regularly and they talk Eurovision a lot and interview fans. Lemme just say this as delicately as I can. I'm still waiting for them to interview the first man fan.

Sadly, that's true of many full-time salaried FS jobs. A lot of those folks are desk jockeys that never get out in the field, or very rarely.

It would have killed me to be in the midst of all that grandeur and sit looking at it through a window. Couldn't do it.

I live in the midst of beautiful state and national forests now...on a scale of somewhat less grandeur, but great beauty nonetheless.
