So 12 is still pretty good though right?

I'm just running a machine shop full of Makino and Mori machining centers, I'm not trying to win Minecraft or anything.
My daughter is on the development team at Microsoft for Minecraft. And she only needs 4 Gigs and Intel's built-in graphics. So you should be fine.

What exactly is the goal of Flat Earth? To make sure we don't sail off the end of the map?

I think the fact that we still have a waste disposal problem disproves flat earth theories. If we could just dump garbage near the edge and have it fall off into the void there would be a HUGE thriving business doing just that🤷🏻‍♂️
I dont think theres an edge we can fall off of with some void underneath it.

all I know is that I have questions. like why can we zoom in on ships that have previously gone behind the curve to disappear and have them reappear again on camera? is that refraction?

how can there be a high pressurized system of our atnosphere next to a very very low pressurized system of space without the atmosphere trying g to reach equilibrium with the low pressure system of space?

there should be a mathematical formula to figure out how far we should not be able to see things because they are behind the globe. there is a formula for this and we shouldnt be able to see 700 miles away as in the video unless the earth isnt a spinning ball.

there are LOTS of reasons to question space as it's been spoon fed to us. TONS.

Gravity draws the atmosphere towards the earth and the density/pressure as a function of elevation is quite well predicted.

I'm involved in a study of the atmosphere of comets which have amazing behavior. Some of them pass near our sun every 6 years or so and spend most of their time in deep freeze, then as they slingshot past the sun they warm up and produce a huge diffuse atmosphere (e.g. spread over a million km) with lots of interesting chemistry going on. We can actually map the components spatially and get a lot of insight.

One of the biggest knocks against flat Earth theory is the fact that the people who produce real results all base their results on math that assumes a spherical Earth. GPS, satellite communications, airplanes, long distance marksmanship, etc. Even nugs like me use it and get real results that allow us to shape the world around us. I’ll take the theory seriously once it produces paradigm-shifting results instead of listing things the acolytes “just don’t believe” or “just have doubts about.”

I'm not a scientist, but it would be really odd if the earth was flat considering we can actually see the shape of the moon and other planets. Unless telescopes are an elaborate ruse.
