Just had a unique situation come up that I haven't encountered before.
I was at work last week talking with a friend about CPKs, how much I like them, the models I own, etc. I was lamenting that I may decide to let go of some knives and maybe a few other things to cover remodeling costs and my wife's unexpected surgery.
Anyway, a coworker (whom I don't like) overheard and saw the pic of my DEK2 pulled up on my phone. Long story short, he offered $650 for the knife.

I made sure he understood that's more than what they sell for from the maker.
I really don't like the guy for a number of reasons, which I don't think need to be discussed. However, the funds would lessen the sting from upcoming expenses. It kind of bugs me to think of selling him the knife though. Generally, I'd prefer to keep CPKs in the community, but I don't want to be seen as a price gouger or a flipper or something.
Should I just swallow my pride and do it? (I know, I know, first world problems).
